We stayed 3 nights at the Mirador D'alt Vila for my best friends 50th birthday. I reached out to the hotel ahead of our stay to find out details/ask questions and seek assistance with birthday preparations, and the ladies on Reception (Marta, Virginia & Cristina) ALWAYS replied so quickly and helpfully. Nothing was too much trouble. The location of the hotel is beautiful. Being May it was not too hot in the centre of D'alt Vila, but I can imagine in July/August it could be oppressive but the hotel is well ventilated and has great air con in all rooms. Tastefully decorated with all mod-cons and super comfy beds. Housekeeping extraordinarily efficient and polite. Rooms peaceful and some with a lovely balcony with sea views. The Pool & pool area is tiny but pleasant and pleasant and, during our visit, peaceful. A nice place for a quick cooling dip but not really best for sunbathing as the sun only reaches it a few limited times a day. The hotel is best accessed either with the complimentary airport transfer provided by the hotel (wonderful Carlos!) or taxi as it would be almost impossible to haul cases up from the port. We only experienced breakfast and the offering was fairly varied and service great. 3 of our party did, on one morning, ask for poached eggs on toast and all 3 sent them back (yolk hard, white still clear/runny) as inedible. As everything else was amazing, I think the chef must have been having a bad morning so we let it go and didn't cause a fuss. We just didn't order it again. The French omlette was divine. Everything about our stay was top class and we all would highly recommend staying here if you want a peaceful and sophisticated hotel stay away from the hub-ub of the usual loud Ibiza buzz (which is easily accessible via a short 8 min stroll downhill to the port).
