My family and I spent five nights at the PopAlp Hotel and had an excellent stay! We were so pleased we stayed at this location for our four days of skiing at Alpe D'Huez. The staff was outstanding. They could not have been nicer or more welcoming. They were so helpful, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. I was particularly impressed how well they worked as a team. They worked hard during the breakfast service that is included with the room, at night serving us drinks, and helped us with recommendations and reservations for nearby restaurants. I loved the art throughout the hotel. It is so colorful, eye-catching and inspiring. The view from our room was breathtaking. The meal we had at the restaurant was delicious and we enjoyed having drinks at the bar. The location worked well. We caught a nearby lift to the slopes and could ski to the hotel at the end of the day. We rented equipment at the nearby Skimium which was easy, high performance and great service. The hotel had a ski room with lockers to store our equipment that made it very easy to access the slopes as well. We look forward to returning!

The best ski hotel I have ever stayed at! Wow, what a hotel and what amazing service you get from all the staff before and during the stay! Booked quite last minute and booked 3 rooms for 8 girls, we had to chop and change the booking a few times before but this wasn’t a problem. I have never ever had a hotel respond so quickly and clearly - huge credit to this hotel. 2 of the girls had bereavements before the ski holiday and the hotel places lovely gifts in all the rooms to welcome us. We had a quadruple room which had lovely views over the town / mountains. Large rooms , 2 showers, a bath and toilet. Rooms were clean and comfortable and lots of wardrobe space and a safe all included. The only negative in the room was it would be great to have tea / coffee facilities so you can have a cuppa while you woke up. I did go downstairs on the morning and bring tea up to the room. No English breakfast tea but I always take my own. The mattresses were a little hard on the bunk beds but other than that they were great. Breakfast was fabulous and the staff really can’t do enough for you. As we were leaving the owner gave me a bottle a of wine to thank me for booking and organising for the girls. Would highly recommend and would stay again. Oh and right next door is the ski hire and 3 min walk to the lifts!! It’s fab, book it!!

in Jan 2025 we stayed at Pop Alp hotels apartment. It was great. it sleeps 12 - we had 11. the one bed that could only be a double was not that big so this worked out well for us - 2 people in that bed would have been a squeeze. They made all other beds up for us as twins. The place for us was great. Ski locker outside. A boot room with plenty of hooks to hang items and a boot dryer that came on every night. The room was also warm so all kit nice and dry next day. The apartment is really lovely stunning views and right in the centre of the resort. Near Alpe express lift and lobster cages (telecabin) so great access to both ski areas - Grand Rousses and Le Bergrs area. The hotel is virtually ski to door. There are lots of ski shops there, a machine to collect lift passess, the tourist office, a butchers, a bakery and a Sherpa supermarket. Bigger supermarkets are also near. Plenty of toilets (5), 5 showers. Kitchen well equipted with microwave, cookers and induction hob. The staff in hotel reception were really great. We had a perfect stay. Beds and pillows were comfy. Interior of apartment is done out really well. A huge table to eat at. We did self catering going out a few nights to local restaurants. There are bars and restaurants near. Just be aware there are no baths in apartment we kenw this. Some do like a bath however post skiing. There are spas inresort if you want heat treatments ! We had a great time thank you staff at Pop Alp hotel :) There are a few sets of stairs around hotel outside but you can avoid once you know your way around.
