If you’re thinking to go to the vic - think again! I would strongly advise not visit the pub at all… It’s deemed acceptable by the landlord AND his partner for members of their staff to pin up a 3 month pregnant woman by the scruff of their neck then continue to assault outside the premises whilst the landlord stands by and watches. Also thinks it’s acceptable to then strangle and choke out on the floor the man for stepping in to help the pregnant woman. Anyone who dates step a foot out of line or enjoy themself will get barred and kicked out. Honestly the worst run pub in the whole of West Yorkshire! Avoid unless you want to be barred or take a beating from the landlord and their staff!

We booked here for the area, we realised it was a sheared bathroom, but when my wife had the need in the middle of the night there were one man sleeping in the passage & another in the bath, he even had a pillow, he did vacate the bathroom when I went & put the light on, we got the impression it wasn't a one off, the management said he didn't anything about it & would investigate, our room was ok, the shared kitchen wasn't too bad. the noise wasn't to bad but understood why other people might be anoyed

Noisy and they couldn't care less when you complained and said children couldn't sleep! Measured 82dB in our room at 11.15pm with 2 kids and the whole bed was shaking. Far more interested in allowing the 5-6 drunks in the bar to screech into a microphone than those wanting to sleep and this is a residential area! The joke was the notice saying please be quiet and respect our neighbours when they had no respect for us. Cheap beds and kitchen had basic pots and pans but no forks, spoons or cooking implements. Was clean but that was only positive. Would never stay here again!
