Hotels in Prince Edward and Tai Kok Tsui, Hong Kong

This hotel is excellent in our opinion. Location in the center, in 5 minutes by foot from a subway station. Rooms are large by Hong Kong standards and very clean. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were always exstensive and of top quality. The Internet connection was perfect all the time. There was a glass bottle in the room and you could always obtain drinking water in several places. The water flow in the bathroom was strong. We lived on 19th floor which provided a nice view from the window. Air conditioning was central and worked fine. We would recommend this hotel to anyone and next time when we visit Hong Kong we intend to stay there.

A decent hotel located near Mong Kok MTR Station. Takes around 10 minutes walk to the station. 7-11, Mcdonalds and market nearby. Have a free light breakfast and coffee at the lobby.

Location is great, nearby MTR and bus stations with great choices of eateries. Hotel and facility is modern and new but the room is not big, quite norm in Hong Kong though. Soundproof is weak, we could hear people talking while they waiting for lift since our room was just opposite the lift, luckily there weren't too many rooms and people on each level. There is a rooftop garden for you to enjoy the neighbourhood view from top, and we could enjoy this view as well from our room since it was at high level corner with very big windows. Overall recommended.

Very clean from when you enter the compounds of the hostel, to the reception area, to the room. Credits to the cleaning staff especially when I saw the two en-suite bathrooms of the 8 girls dorm the next morning , it was in a terrible state caused by the guests of the shared dorm. The room is spacious for 8 bed female dorm with lockers, full length mirrors and two en-suite bathrooms. Hand soap , bath soap , toilet paper was provided. No towels and no hairdryer provided. Hanging hooks available in room. Many storage areas with big lockers. Comfortable bed and duvet. You have to remove duvet sheets , bedsheets, pillow case upon checkout and return it to reception area bins. Good choice for the budget traveller and for cost of hotels in Hong Kong. Place is worth visiting just for the nostalgic vibe of the place.

Value for money. But the rooms 1st is the floor is still dirty, under the bed is dirty 2 is that they combine 2 single bed to become 1 big bed. Its difficult to sleep on the center of the bed because of the edge of the 2 single bed. And lastly i think there are bed bugs. Because my legs have many insects bites.

This hotel is good for the money. The staff are very nice and the hotel is very clean. Only the other guests were very loud late at night when I stayed so this didn’t make my stay very pleasant, but they did stop the noise around midnight so I was able to get a good sleep after that.

101percent very clean I like the room very simple but nice ..also the view very nice can see the view of city ❤️ but hope nextime have a personal kit for body hygiene 🪥🪥🪥🪥 but all is very nice 💯

An affordable option that avoids the hectic Mong Kok ***** nearby. Quiet, peaceful, conveniently located with shops for sandwiches, dumplings, and pastries nearby. A convenient walk to the subway station (Olympic), perhaps 7 minutes away with simple navigation.

Metroplace has the smallest rooms of a traditional hotel room that I've ever seen. I stayed in room 506 with two single beds. The beds are two very narrow single beds about one foot separating each other.The purpose of the one or two people at the front entrance is to provide the room and the room key. It is located four blocks from the A2 entrance or C2 entrance of the Sham Shui Po subway station. Also it is about 4 or 5 blocks from the Dragon Center, a Hong Kong style depar**ent store, 9 floors of many places to eat and shop. Metroplace Hotel is located right near the famous Hong Kong street vendors area. Cheapest, smallest rooms possible in an area of extremely expensive hotels.
