Hotel dekat Hong Kong Intl. Airport (HKG), Hong Kong

The hotel located at the Airport. Services from staff are good. The bed is not too comfortable for us and the bathroom is a bit old (I think it's needed to be renovated). At night, Showering sounds and flushing sounds from the next door is annoying LOUD. For breakfast, honestly, I had better in other hotels. I'm wondering why Hotel shuttle bus leave to Tung Chung MTR station every hour instead of every half an hour like other hotels (ex. Marriott or Fourpoint Sheration...). Anyway the best thing for this hotel is you can hardly miss your flight as it is only 5-mins walk to Airport departure hall.

The hotel is very close to the airport. If you take the AirPort Express train to the Asia World Expo station, it’s maybe 3-5 minutes away by feet - it’s actually directly connected to the station so you don’t even have to go outside! They provide a shuttle to the airport every 15 minutes which is great. I think the ride lasts maybe 5 minutes? It’s very short, the airport is genuinely super close. The staff is very helpful. According to Hong Kong law, the hotels cannot distribute plastic water bottles so instead, each room gets a glass bottle that you can go refill whenever. There are several stations on each floor to do this. I thought this was a really good system. They have a bar with a very nice atmosphere. Many people are sitting there waiting for their late flights and the vibe was really good! It’s somewhat of a basic business hotel. It was nice and clean but I felt like it was nothing extra - for this reason, I thought the price was way too high. This was my only problem. However, we also need to remember that this is Hong Kong, so it won’t be cheap.

I had a very comfortable stay at Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott before my flight. The room was clean, quiet, and well-equipped, allowing me to relax fully. The hotel’s free airport shuttle was convenient, and the staff were friendly and efficient. Overall, a great place to rest before a long journey! Breakfast was amazing!

Very good hotel and great experience. Check in was smooth with Edith providing great service. Bed, amenities, overall service was very good. Only fault I found was the Air Conditioning was broken and although the rooms were changed right away, I think this should have been caught during the previous guest’s stay. Again everything was excellent just one inconvenience.

Novotel is always good 👍🏼 even though it's not new and the design is old-fashioned. The location is great. The room is spacious. The breakfast is as it should be in a hotel. There's only one drawback - why is it so dark in the corridor?

Great experience. The location is quite near to the airport. There is bus provided for the guests which is very convenient when you traveling with family. There are some shops opposite the hotel. If you wanna go to Disneyland this hotel would be good choice. However, it is far from city center or famous spots like Mkngkok or Shin Sha Chui. The service is excellent, the staffs are well-trained. The facilities are great as well.

It’s my second or third time staying at Sheraton Tung Chung. Shuttle bus to Tung Chung station within 10 mins. Nice view to the ocean. Room is not a very big room but good enough for a short stay. No bathtub but the bathroom is quite spacious, and you can look at the sea view when showering. Everything’s pretty good :)

The host was very nice and friendly. He gave us a lot of info about the local attractions. The room was extremely clean though, but the water flow was a bit slow due to low water pressure. We don’t think this is an issue though, because it didn’t affect our showers but just think that it’s something we need to mention about. In terms of location, I would consider it as inconvenient, because there’s a 10mins walk to the main road and cars can’t drive through because there’s no road/ paths nearby the house. For drivers x you do need to park your car outside where about 10mins walk away. In terms of cleanliness and quietness, this place is an extremely clean, and the host actually asked us to leave our shoes outside the room. Also, I haven’t found any dust or dirt in this house. In terms of view, we were not arranged to a room with any views, which is kinda disappointed. As far as I know there were other rooms occupied at the same time, and they were on the second floor and third floor. Unfortunately, they are the rooms that have views. In terms of facilities, we actually didn’t manage time to cook or BBQ at this place. Guests can actually use the kitchen and BBQ at the backyard.

We had an enjoyable stay. Great location for hiking and sightseeing, very peaceful setting, lovely views of Lantau Peak and close to the Big Buddha, the chairlift and good bus connections to all over Lantau Island. The buildings have seen better days, as you expect at a youth hostel, but the showers are hot and effective, the kitchen and BBQ facilities are good and the bed is comfortable. The manager is very personable and friendly and it was nice to meet his family. There are few shops to buy ordinary supplies in Ngong Ping, except a very basic 7/11, so you need to stock up before arriving or be prepared to eat at the expensive tourist outlets in the 'village' or at Po Lin monastery. Tourist facilities shut down by 5-6pm.

On April 27th, we booked a suite on the 2nd floor at the Tai O Heritage Hotel for one night on June 22nd. My wife and I took the Ngong Ping 360 to Po Lin Monastery in the morning, and after having an exquisite lunch at the Monastery’s vegetarian restaurant, we took bus No. 21 to Tai O. Arrived at the hotel at about 3 pm and completed the check-in procedure within 10 minutes. We were very happy to receive a lucky bag for the 10th anniversary of the hotel. A hotel staff warmly brought us upstairs to our room. We were told that it was a little bit difficult to unlock the door because the hotel wants to preserve the original structure and appearance of the wooden door of the Old Tai O Marine Police Station (120 years ago). Although a very skilful demonstration was given, it was a hard job for us to unlock the door because of the handicap of our age. In the end, we had to trust the security system of the Hotel and didn't attempt to lock the door at all. After the opening hours for public visitors at 6 pm, the environment of the Hotel was very quiet and relaxing. We like very much the rustic continental style glass-roofed restaurant: sitting at a small table facing the Tai O Bay, we had a feeling of enjoying the harvest of our lifework. We know that Tai O Heritage Hotel is a non-profit organization with a mission to protect cultural relics and historic sites in addition to providing hotel services, and because there are only 9 rooms (6 on the first floor and 3 suites on the second floor), it is a big constraint to run the business successfully, we also understand that the cost-effective of room charges and meal prices must not be on par with the 5-star Hotels in the city.
