The location is perfect, the architecture is very nice and the staff are so nice. The common area have books, hot water and plenty of washing machine.
Only if they can borrow proper hair dryer would be nicer, they have it in the common area, but it was short time limited.
I have been to one hostel located in Taipei, where they have couple of hair dryers with different types, and they were giveaways from different people. I find this is very sweet.

Opened in Nov 2019, E Hotel Hong Kong is located in the Sham Shui Po District of Hong Kong, a district full of human touch and rich history. It is a trendy boutique hotel with nearby must-have food, Toy Street, Cloth Street, and a stroll through the streets. The hotel is just a two-minute walk from MTR Sham Shui Po Station. The excellent location is a great choice for exploring Hong Kong and its surrounding areas.

Cleanliness 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟housekeeping service was Excellent, very exceptional for a 3 star hotel.
🌟🌟🌟Location is very old neighbourhood but good overall offering of HK food. Notice more mentally unsound older people in this neighbourhood, mostly talking or shouting to themselves and occasional quarrel with people. Felt a bit uncomfortable and unsettling.
👎👎👎for their deposit policy where the directly debit HK$500 instead of a credit hold and reverse it out immediately when u checked out like other hotels. Especially was I particularly asked when checking in if the debit was a credit hold, she answered yes …. But upon checking out was told will have to take at least 4-8 weeks for amount to be credited back. If they had explained clearly I would have just given cash. The problem w HK service industry is not being proactive and meticulous, sometimes feels like “pulling teeth” experience. They only reply your queries IF you asked!
🌟🌟🌟🌟Room size expected cramped but bathroom was larger than expected and king bed & pillows were comfortable.

One of the best location hotels I have stayed in HK. Walking distances to major train lines, super easy access to MOKO Mall, Mong Kok East shopping and great eateries. The room is spacious, staff friendly and all daily essentials for comfortable hotel stay are included. It will be great if the toilet bowl included a bidet but it's just something great to have. Will certainly opt to stay here again in my next visit to HK with family or friends!

This was a good find. It's a hotel that, being in Mongkok/Kowloon is closer to the airport than those in the central area. That said, one has to learn the subway network (the MTR).
The facilities may be a bit dated for some, but the room and the breakfast area were fine, and the price was right.
Close to Kowloon's sites by subway along Nathan Road.

Size of room and beds were good. I booked 3 days, but on the second day, when I returned to hotel at night, dirty water was found coming from the upper level through an air hole, like a small waterfall, making the corridor and my room's toilet wet. After reporting to front office, staff responsed fast and changed another room for me.

Disappointed with the service of shuttle bus, the hotel doesn’t put the timetable on the website and location for pick up from west Kowloon station. So we have to take a metro train to the hotel. Unfortunately the Google map didn’t direct us very well, took the longer route to get to the hotel from the Sung Wong Toi station. Also after 6:20pm there is no shuttle bus from Kowloon hotel at Tsim Sha Tsui back to hotel. I uploaded the screenshot to timetable for anyone who wishing to stay this hotel.
The room is not spacious but this is HK. The hotel will not provide any toiletries and water. You better to bring your own shampoo, because we notice after using their shampoo we got dandruff :(
The house keeper service is good, they are very polite and accommodating your time to clean the room.
We didn’t have the breakfasts at the hotel, there is lots of local pastry shops and cafe near by. Try some local bakery you won’t regret it. Also 7/11 is only 1 minute away from the hotel which is very convenient to get water and snacks.
There is a self cleaning laundry service opposite the hotel, very cheap and easy to use if you have octopus card to pay for it.

Additionally, the hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the large public recreational area, Tak Sports Park, and is surrounded by supermarkets, a variety of restaurants, and banks.
VVivian Hiu Tung2025.01.23
Location is decent, close to bus stops and a subway/metro stop. It is about a 10 minute walk to the nearest subway stop from the hotel, but it is a straight walk all the way to the end of the road. I suggest taking buses from this hotel, much closer! I booked an sea/ocean view room, it wasn't very big, but it was decent. Everything is neat with a modern minimalist decor. It is a comfortable enough place to stay for those who plan to be out early and all day, and just come back at night for a shower and rest. So I would say this hotel is good for solo travelers, business travelers, and young couples. For those looking to stay in their hotel rooms the whole day or make frequent trips to rest in their hotels, this may not suit your needs. Personally for me, it was an ok and reliable experience, but my itinerary had me out and about most of the time.

Returned the room yesterday. The room is messy. If the refund is not made on time, you will have to pay more money. But I also thank the staff for their patience.

What Travelers Said About the Best Hotels in Hong Kong

4.4/5
Excellent
EEdiGThe hotel positions itself as a 4-star establishment, but it falls short of that mark. Here's a breakdown of my experience:
Location: The location is excellent, if you don't mind a steep uphill walk. However, the entire island is built on different levels, which isn't a negative but rather a positive – a daily workout! There's a bus stop right by the hotel, making it easy to reach the metro instead of walking up and down, straining your leg muscles. Next door is a botanical and zoological garden where you can take a stroll. By the way, entry is free. A 10-minute walk down the hill leads to the cable car ”tram” stop for a trip to Victoria Peak.
Check-in: Check-in was fast, but a USD 300 deposit is required, which isn't mentioned on either the trip.com website or the hotel's website. If you need an adapter for your electronic devices, ask for one right away – the receptionist won't offer it.
Room: The room is relatively clean, though I did find some hair in the kitchen and on the bedding. For Hong Kong, the room is spacious, but there's nowhere to store a suitcase. You can set the temperature on the air conditioner, but it doesn't work. It only blows cold air, making the room humid.
Kitchen: The kitchen is minimally equipped, but it's sufficient. However, upon check-in, they warn you that the stove can only be used for reheating food, not cooking, as the fire alarm system is very sensitive and might activate the siren due to hot steam. You must turn on the exhaust fan to full power and the air conditioner to avoid triggering the alarm. Why bother having a kitchen at all?
Bathroom: The same situation as with the kitchen – you need to close the door and turn on the air conditioner at full power while showering to avoid the fire alarm being triggered by steam from the bathroom. The shower hose started leaking on the second day of my stay. It was replaced with a new one, which also leaked. When the technician replaced the hose, did he check if the equipment was working properly? I doubt it.
Breakfast: Breakfast is only served from a menu, which is quite limited. It's delicious, but not diverse. Is this the service you'd expect from a 4-star hotel? The breakfast organization is chaotic – staff running around and clanging dishes. Two slow coffee machines and one toaster keep guests waiting in line. By the way, there are plastic mugs for tea and coffee. The only fruit options are two types of apples – red and green.
Service: The service is polite, but I'd say it's ”on demand.” You need to ask for shampoo, shower gel, and dishwashing liquid to be refilled. The housekeeping, for some reason, doesn't notice the need to replenish hygiene products in the bathroom and kitchen.
Environmentalism: As in all of Hong Kong, they no longer provide water in plastic bottles. That's good, but come up with an alternative so guests don't have to go to the store for water. In my opinion, this environmental concern is simply an opportunity to reduce service costs while maintaining high accommodation prices. Speaking of breakfast again, the jam and butter are provided in small plastic containers, just like on airplanes. Is this really about caring for the environment?
Conclusion: Overall, it's a good choice if you're not bothered by the minor service inconsistencies and if you don't have high expectations for a 4-star hotel. If you're visiting Hong Kong, I'd recommend Two MacDonell Road.
GGuest UserThe hotel is very close to the airport. If you take the AirPort Express train to the Asia World Expo station, it’s maybe 3-5 minutes away by feet - it’s actually directly connected to the station so you don’t even have to go outside! They provide a shuttle to the airport every 15 minutes which is great. I think the ride lasts maybe 5 minutes? It’s very short, the airport is genuinely super close.
The staff is very helpful. According to Hong Kong law, the hotels cannot distribute plastic water bottles so instead, each room gets a glass bottle that you can go refill whenever. There are several stations on each floor to do this. I thought this was a really good system.
They have a bar with a very nice atmosphere. Many people are sitting there waiting for their late flights and the vibe was really good!
It’s somewhat of a basic business hotel. It was nice and clean but I felt like it was nothing extra - for this reason, I thought the price was way too high. This was my only problem. However, we also need to remember that this is Hong Kong, so it won’t be cheap.
AAnonymous UserGood condition and services
Very clean and comfortable and high efficient for special orders
Easy transportation for MTR, tunnel bus,
So many Shopping centres and food centers
All things are supplied in the room so enough.
But there have only 4 clothes hangers are not enough for winter use, or hanging clothes after washing clothes.
Times up must be left and locked the door is not a good service.
Long queue for check in. One receptionist is not enough, and low efficiency.
CCilladbI recently stayed at Harbour Plaza North Point and had a generally pleasant experience.
The breakfast was a highlight of my stay. There were plenty of options to choose from, and everything tasted fresh. It was a great way to start the day.
The hotel itself was clean and had a lovely aroma throughout. It's evident that the staff takes pride in maintaining the space, which contributed to a welcoming atmosphere.
My room was quite spacious, allowing for comfortable movement. However, I found the bed to be a bit too hard for my liking, which affected my sleep quality.
The staff was incredibly helpful and responsive. When I requested extra pillows, they were delivered promptly. Additionally, I appreciated having access to an iron and ironing board, which made getting ready for my events much easier.
Overall, Harbour Plaza North Point provided a solid experience with good amenities and attentive service. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable stay!
TThanawanThe hotel staff is very nice. Hotel is clean and provide a large room compared to other hotels near the city. The hotel has a shuttle bus service btw hotel and MTR. However, no survice after 8:00pm. Overall, We're happy during our stay here. Than you
FFeefa MLocation wise very good. Only 2 minutes walk from Islamic Canteen and Mosque. When we booked we didn’t know it’ll be that near so easy for us to find halal food and pray as well. Also about 10 minutes walk to Wan Chai Station. Our room is not very spacious however the price is okay for the room that fits our family of 4 as we chose family room. We mainly took public transport to go everywhere - Disneyland (40 mnt) , Ocean Park ( 20 minutes) , Victoria Peak + Peak Trams ( 25 minutes), ferry terminal to Macau only 10 minutes away and airport around 45 mnt to 1 hr depending on your exchange time. Overall we are satisfied with the hotel. As we will not be spending time inside the room so the price was okay for us with comfortable place to sleep.
MManta1Resort is an inflated term. Pool closed, spa closed, rooms are upstairs but there is no elevator so be ready to carry your bags. Small washer and dryer in the sauna room, outdated fitness equipment. Weird 'token' system for using the 'resort' things like washer or sauna.Interesting little game area downstairs, a couple kayaks and bikes to rent. Few real amenities that would make this a ”resort”. It's a decent hotel.
The rooms are clean but the windows don't open so it gets very stuffy, the fridge froze everything and the bathroom is tiny and dated. My view was gross, so I kept the shade down.
When the tide is out there is a beach, it is close to the ferry pier and a very pretty view when the construction is not going. The sun rises right in front of the hotel!
Restaurant has a large menu for dinner, but only one choice for breakfast (set meal or nothing).
What saves this place is the staff! They are wonderful, lovely people!
RRichelle SantiagoThe hotel is okay nearby the company meeting that we attended. It was my first trip overseas and I enjoyed it. I was excited and happy that I managed to travel overseas for the first time with my own hard earned money. It was possible with Abit help from our tenant's wife she gave small token of appreciation for my graduation. Did not expect to have this gift from someone I recently just met.
