Hotel Pernik

Not good. Facility ok but service terrible. They could not find my reservation.did not look hard. Good that I had confirmation message.Breakfast consisted of only one fried egg, a bread bun and cup of cold coffee.. Nothing else. .The first waitress ( supervisor was rude and surly. )No water.. Had to find a local shop..

The hotel was in good condition . It is a three star hotel however. The pool was the greatest attraction of the Hotel. The poolside bar and patio only had drinks but absolutly no food. The complimentary breakfast was limited to a sandwich of ham and cheese on a small roll. Maybe and egg if you are there on a lucky day. Most days not. They came along with a glass of juice made with Cuban water, which I dare not drink. They served this a few pices of cut fruit. Half a cup of coffee, It was hit or miss if they had SUGAR to put in the coffee. The small hotel restaurants on the lower level has two choices for a meal. Ham steak or fish. My last two days they had a hamburger steak. That was it. Most of my meals were eaten in restaurants away from the hotel at several of the downtown parks. The room was clean and well cared for. The TV and airconditioner did work well. They promised internet cards to buy during my seven day visit. But the internet cards were never available. I had to go to the central park, sit in the sun, and connect ot the internet. Half of each day the electricity was off, therefore no internet. However, it is still the best place to stay in Holguin

Hotel is struggling to offer even the basic of necessities for the traveler. Food is basic. There is nothing to eat in the poolside restaurant. Only Alcohol. No water, beer, soda, coffee. ONLY ALCOHOL. The rooms are adequate with air-conditioning. Bathrooms are clean with hot water, off-and on. The hotel does have its own backup electricity when there is no public electricity. The plus of the hotel is their large swimming pool. An enjoyable cool break at the end of a hot day. Closes at sundown.

We arrived on Sunday afternoon and the pool was filled with locals, who made the pool dirty and it was very noisy. Receptionists were friendly but most of the other staff didn't even look at us or were rude. Breakfast took forever, was bad and again rude staff Rooms were clean but outdated. Power sockets were not working well so even though our voltage is different, our phones/batteries didn't charge. City centre is a 30+ min walk All in all we did not like this hotel at all.

Great location right in the center of Holguin Cuba. Unlike resorts that are 1 hour away and secluded this hotel is real Cuba . Walking distance to the baseball stadium .Price is affordable about the same price as a casa particular but not for you money .it has 24hour security 24hour bar 3 resturants a huge swimming pool. I don't understand why peaple would go to a casa this hotel is clean has a 24hour doctor on site nurse ..the hotel is used by both Cubans and tourist . They have upgraded and renovated most rooms and resturants .top class service and security

Estuve en este hotel como parte de nuestro viaje de Luna de Miel y aunke este no era el destino que habíamos escogido,nos sorprendió para bien. Nos asignaron una suite matrimonial muy amplia y bonita. La limpieza estaba bien y teníamos varias vistas,entre ellas a la piscina que también estaba bien cuidada y tratada con productos. La jardinería MB atendida y en general las áreas de toda la instalación. Aprovechamos y conocimos Guardalavaca.Tambien se puede recorrer la ciudad. Fue una experiencia positiva y repetiría nuevamente. Gracias a su colectivo

De lo peor, paredes con moho, iluminación super deficiente (faltan la mitad de los bombillos en la habitación), el aire acondicionado es antiguo y hace un ruido insoportable, los colchones súper incómodos, mando de los televisores con baterías que no sirven,las ofertas de restaurantes de lo peor, solo agua y no embotellada, la calidad en la elaboración pésima además de lo pésimo de la oferta, en fin, un lugar(ya q no lo llamaría hotel) para cerrar.

Pésimo servio. Hemos esperado cerca de 2 horas para que nos traigan la comida y las empleadas dicen que se debe a que el restaurante está muy lleno. Las habitaciones nada del otro mundo. Sin jabón y los mandos de los equipos carecen de baterías

Me alojé en este sitio por motivos de trabajo, en un momento difícil, sin abastecimiento de comida y con constantes apagones. Eso justificaría algunos problemas, como la ausencia de ofertas gastronómicas o la limitación de sus servicios, pero no el trato frío de su personal o que no apareciera el responsable de cambiar o reparar un equipo defectuoso en la habitación. En la tienda no había ni un souvenir de Holguín. Espero que mejore y que recupere su lugar de prestigio entre las instituciones hoteleras de referencia en esa bella ciudad.
