Lowena Cafe and Accommodation

The place is close, like 5-7min driving to CBD. But the best thing is the service is the TOP. Kevin is really nice to guests. He explained to us even before we asked.

房間很不錯，老闆人也特別好，還提供很豐盛的早餐。去各個旅遊景點也很方便。離市區也非常近。整體住下來的感覺還是很放鬆的！

如果你想住個很老式的酒店，體驗一下有歷史年代感的房子，可以考慮試一下。因為房間太老了，浴房裡麪沒有地方可以放洗髮水沐浴液，洗澡時需要放在地上。淋浴室角落有黴斑。性價比不高。

Dirty, filthy, putrid cottage. Grounds are poorly kept and construction site behind cottage, where parking is provided, is dangerous. Metal chairs in garden are strewn everywhere. Lowena is in a very sad state.

I booked this accommodation for one night only, thank goodness. We went around the block a few times looking for the driveway. Then we had to drive around the back of the building. It was extremely tight and looked like a very bad building site. I kept thinking the inside should be better. The garden and surrounds was really messy. When we got inside we discovered it was as bad as the outside. This is just a room and doesn’t look like it’s been touched in 50 years. When my husband and I arrived it was so awful that all we could do was laugh. I started looking for alternative accommodation but my husband said it’s only one night, so we stayed. The bed was comfortable. When I booked this accommodation it looked very boutique like, very sweet and quaint. It was none of these. It was awful. I’m not over the top nor a 5 star I distant person but this was bad. I added 2 photos of outside but the inside was a video so I didn’t add it.

Lowena was okay for one night near the CBD. Basically everything needs upgrading, ‘ensuite’ smelt mouldy, lots of furniture crammed into a small room, aesthetic was weird. Comfy bed so grateful for that.

Very comfortable. Breakfast was great and Kevin is an excellent host and makes great coffee.

This property has an excellent host and is a great option if you want to be walking distance to the port and Hobart's cbd.

Lovely old house with some modern features set in lovely garden. On a busy street hence busy traffic during the day and night. Hospitable host and very welcoming.
