Best boutique hotel in Vietnam - when I say boutique I don't mean small as the rooms as spacious, comfortable and more aligned to luxury stay than other hotels. The hotel is new and where you are faced with so many "same-same" this one really sets itself apart from others. To note the photo's do not do it justice. The location, the quality of the hotel, the rooms, the personal service and just incredible customer service cannot be more recommended. Oung's English made it a really personal experience, she hosted on the spot cooking classes, traditional dinners, access to rent motor bike or push bike, washing... the list goes on. I searched and searched Trip Advisor, Agoda and *********** however came across just by chance... we booked 2 nights and extended by another 7! We had central access and a short walk 40 metres and we were in the main street - left to traditional markets and right to every restaurant, bar, harbour and shopping. The street is charming and were often greeted with Sin Chow from all the locals. Personal service every morning with options for traditional or western, food prepared on the spot and nothing was too much for Oung, who often cooked more pancakes for my partner way over and above expected! The quality, design and cleanliness of the hotel also sets it apart - in Tam Coc there are an abundance of bungalow style homestay and hotel options however in Della Luna (as the name suggests best enjoyed slowly) you get a luxury experience on an incredible budget price! We fell in love with the hotels rooftop where Oaung is creating a cocktail and cafe experience...so after a long day touring the incredible scenery and location you will be able to enjoy the sunset with 360 degree views of the mountains - sip cocktails, beer or wine, enjoy snacks all while preparing for the evening!!! Tam Coc deserves more than a night or 2 and to really appreciate it you need a 5 night stay....
