Dream Village

The staff were amazing . The pool area and bar area were all new. Though our room was an old one it was cleaned daily .

Just back from a week at Dream village and I have to say the photos are nothing like the actual place. There has been a lot of major improvements to this property. The pool and bar area are beautiful. We stayed in a refurbished room and it was lovely, equally as good as the ‘better’ hotels we have stayed in Koutouloufari. The breakfast was very good and lots of it. The staff are lovely and helpful and cannot do enough to make your stay enjoyable. I understand that lack of storage could be a problem for some but for just two of us it wasn’t an issue. Give this place a try , I’m sure you would love it

Let me start by saying the Entertainment Group was the absolute best part of my vacation! They had everyone’s attention with their fun and entertaining games. Not to mention they were friendly, kind and well attentive. We looked forward to seeing them every day and what fun activity they had planned. Christopher was a great dancer and such a sweet person to talk too. Every time we saw him he would stop to talk to us! David and Erik were also so kind and always had us laughing. They would interact with my children and with me as well. Any time we saw them they made sure to stop and come over to speak with us and this made our day! We grew very close to them all and were very sad to leave them behind..Darika, Irene and Ruby were so sweet and had such beautiful smiles.. they got the crowd going especially with their Zumba dances. Christopher, David & Erik have become very close friends to my family and I and we can’t wait to plan our trip again for next year!

Have been at Dream before,pre covid,since my last visit the pool area has been upgraded,all tiles no grass,the pool is split and very clean,reception has drink and bar style snacks at reasonable prices.My Studio was near the pool very quiet at night with a balcony looking down into Hersonisos and over the sea,some of the accommodation has been upgraded,mine was still old style, cooking area,shower and small bath ,sleeping area very comfy,and bedding,and towel changes regularly.Might not be suitable for anyone with walking difficulties, as the steps and path down to reception and the pool are on a slope,but most are in the area.Lots of nice tavernas and shops,and a few good bars close by in Piskopiano or Koutouloufari.Its the ideal location for your holiday in Crete.

We stayed at Dream Village appartments in September 2023. Although our room was basic and needed some updating, it was in a perfect spot near the pool and had a private balcony at the back with lovely sea views. The staff at Dream Village were always friendly and helpful but there wasnt much choice of food at the pool bar if you fancied a snack. That didnt bother us too much though as we were only about 2 minutes walk from the nearest restaurant serving food all day and about 5 minutes from the nearest supermarket. The apartments were situated on the side of a hill in between two lovely villages with plenty of great restaurants and tavernas. There were also plenty of little gift shops and small supermarkets where you can buy all your essentials. If you fancy it you and you can hire a car, scooter or quad bike from a hire centre in the village. The main town of Hersonissos which is down below the village has everythjng you want, although the beach is very narrow but you are spoilt for choice of restaurants along the sea front. You can catch a bus to other resorts for just a few euros and buses run every half hour to the main city of Heraklion. The 15 minute walk from the apartments downhill to the town is very steep so it might be worthwhile getting a taxi back uphill if you have walking difficulties or if it is too hot to tempt the steep bank uphill back. All in all we had a great time staying at Dream Village and even though it is only three star accommodation, it is perfectly adequate for what we wanted so I would recommend it to others who looking for a good value holiday in a lovely area.

We stayed in the more modern apts and yet had no wardrobe or anywhere to put our clothes, also no toaster,bread board etc, infairness the rooms were clean and tidy but living out of our suitcases wasn't fun. On a more serious point we have a daughter with autism and had to be out of our apts for 10am (our flight was at 11pm) and there are no showering/changing facilities. As a result I approached the piskopiano village apartments and the manager gave me a room for the day (80euro) I understand a room has to be prepared for the next people but to have no shower room is inexcusable but of course us brits/ irish will put up with this sort of thing! In conclusion I wouldn't stay at the dream village apts again but the piskopiano village apts are lovely and are also a jet2.com property and I would definitely give them a go. Cheers.

Amazing place, my partner proposed to me at the apartment and I could not have asked for more, lovely place, lovely part of the world. Owners amazing and have done so much to the area. Can not wait to go back, it will always have a special ace in my heart.

We stayed in one of the refurbished 1 bedroom apartments (305). We had a fantastic time views were beautiful. Our apartment was very spacious only down side was the lack of storage for clothes. This didn't bother us as we just left some clothes in a suitcase. There were rails in the bedroom to hang a few items but no drawers or wardrobes. There was always plenty of sunbeds and the pool area was great. You have to check out of your room for 10am. Our flight wasn't until the evening but the manager kindly found us another room to use for the day which was a god send😍. Dream Village is in a fantastic location with a few minutes walk from all the restaurants. We didn't have 1 bad meal during our holiday. We will definitely be returning 😁

From the family that stayed in room 102, I fully recommend this complex to anyone. The staff were excellent, as were the facilities. Can't wait to go back. Nothing more to add to be honest. There are lots of restaurants within meters of each other, all very good food and drink. You are spoilt for choice.
