Stella Village Seaside Hotel

I am in love with this hotel and its staff. They are wonderful people with a kind soul. The first time I came with a friend in 2023 and we cried when our exciting vacation in Stella Village ended. This year I brought my parents on vacation. I was very happy to meet ‍♀️Lindita again - a very nice and pretty girl. Very attentive and responsive. She brought me to my senses when I fainted, and was with me until I felt better. Ledian is a wonderful guy who works immediately. He will always advise you to try something new in terms of food. ‍♂️ Temour is a very nice and smiling guy at the bar, with whom my family and I have the same views on some things. And, the most important person, for whose discos we travel from another country for the second year in a row - DJ SPIROS !!! This is a unique and inimitable guy who with his sets will create for you not only the most pleasant atmosphere for the evening, but also set a great mood for the entire vacation! Customer focus at the highest level! We had a blast! The whole family thanks you for your support and care, for the pleasant emotions and moments spent in Stella Village.✨

This was our third visit previous in 2018 and it’s only got better! Amazing customer service - waitress/waiters/lifeguard/cleaners/barman/reception/animation team and kids club. This is what makes this resort for me 100% as they are just so friendly and happy to help - you just don’t get that everywhere and we have travelled a lot! My children are aged 2,7 and 9. Waterpark is a huge win! Maybe biggest in Crete plus onsite at the hotel. In addition to a number of pools and there are 5 extreme slides which you need to be 140cm in height, the next 4/5 slides you need to be 120cm all others you can access. Plenty to do for our children. Kids club aged 4 plus 10-12pm and 3-6pm and stay and play 1-3pm if looking for some shade. Cleanliness - again 10/10 rooms, pools and restaurants as well as toilets all very well cleaned. Food is probably 8/10 for adults and 10/10 for children. Generally food was very good at lunch and dinner and deserts/fruit also very delicious - you use an app for the other restaurants and very easy to use alternatively book at reception. The beach is just opposite the hotel in a calm bay not too deep and safe for everyone to swim. Collect clean towels everyday. There are activities in the day such as water polo -well organised by the animation team. They really do work so hard and make the entertainment lots of fun. There is a little train you can take on 1.5 hour journey up to the local town. In the evening there is a mini disco 8.30pm and entertainment also very good, including fireworks, Greek night, acrobatics and a pool party! Little shop on site and reasonably priced for inflatables, souvenirs and swimwear. I would recommend this hotel to any family- such a lovely holiday.

We visited Stella Village in August, arriving just before midnight. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a warm welcome, and food was waiting for us—such a thoughtful touch. We stayed in a refurbished, modern family room located near the taverna and smaller pool, which was quiet and the perfect spot for relaxation. The hotel’s main restaurant offered basic food, and the ambiance was lacking, so we opted for the Mediterranean restaurant for breakfast and lunch each day, and occasionally dinner. We only used the main restaurant twice during our stay. There were plenty of pools, and we enjoyed being situated near the quieter child friendly ones. The sun loungers by the pool were often saved early, particularly by Stella Palace guests, which, although supposedly not allowed, went unpoliced. The small convenience shop on-site was handy, and the beach, while small, was adequate for our needs. We did experience a few power cuts, but they didn’t detract from the overall experience. The highlight was definitely the amazing water park—absolutely fabulous and a real treat for the whole family. While I typically enjoy luxurious stays, I honestly cannot justify the price difference between the Village and the Palace. If this were our only holiday of the year, we might consider splurging, but for an excellent and enjoyable experience, I would choose the Village again. The staff were helpful, and we had a fantastic time—loved every moment! Would definitely return!

I will start by saying that I was very disappointed with the experience at Stella Village and that we will never return, not even to try Stella Palace. We had to choose a Standard room at the Village because we have two children, one 3 years old and one 1 year old, and both only sleep with us in the same room, so no other room option was suitable for us at this time. We received room 221. The bathroom is unacceptable. The room is in desperate need of renovation, from its appearance to the toilet, toilet brush, and toilet seat. The seat was yellowed from use, the brush was... unspeakably dirty, rusty, and damaged. The bathroom door and handle were rusty and damaged. We found the sink dirty... so 4 stars... I'm sorry, but this standard room isn't even 2-star quality. Not to mention the all-inclusive, which is a joke. The same food every day, no variety, we barely had anything to choose from. Lots of pizza and pasta, a few salads, and some fried foods. But that's it. Between breakfast and lunch, there is no snack bar open, so if you want to get something for the kids, you have to take it with you from breakfast. A complete disappointment. Ok, I understand the Village concept, but still, it's about a resort that is mocking its customers. For early booking in December 2023, for 2 adults, a child, and a baby, we paid €2300. Enormous for such conditions and mediocre services. It left a bitter taste! We will not repeat the experience. And yes, all-inclusive in Greece has a certain "reputation" and it was confirmed for us too.

As a couple we found the hotel very remote, nothing near by, rooms ok, staff are lovely, had a few issues with the food, found hair more than once in the food, entertainment not much going on, cannot use all facilities if not upgraded to a silver room, would not revisit, quite disappointed as first holiday away as a couple

The reception staff and the bar staff go above and beyond, the friendliest and most accommodating people we have met whilst on holiday. These people make the holiday as well as the fantastic surroundings. The rooms are spacious and clean, plenty of variety with food and drinks. There is a vast cocktail menu, the water park is outstanding and we would highly recommend this for anyone wishing to visit. We most definitely would come back and cannot wait for our next visit!
