Very conveniently located near the center of Herning with parking that is just next to the hotel. The rooms have recently been refurbished but are very much standard so no surprises there. The cleaning level of the room was very good. The restaurant offers a´la carte with kind service from the personnel. The food was ok but nothing out of the ordinary. Overall a bit pricy on what you get.

Bad experience at ostergaards hotel. First when i come there no one is at receptions. Waited long time to get my room key, the guy at the reception was working also in hotels restaurant so had to wait for him but he was nice.
The my first morning i was going to take a shower - no water working. Got really upset put my clothes back on and asked the cleaning lady. She came back to me and says she doesnt know. So i asked another worker at the hotel, she didnt know about the water so she went to see what is going on. She came back and said the water was turned off!! It came back then... why turn off water when guests want to take a shower in the morning?? No info!! Very bad!
Second morning they woke me up before 8, they were doind some work in the hotel and drilling. Couldnt sleep at all!
Dont recommend this hotel to anyone!

The stay was OK. We stayed in the Executive Suite which was just a larger room, no bathroom items, no chocolates, a really tiny electric kettle and no choice of teas. The room was cold on arrival but warmed up after we put on the heating.

Check-in was quick and easy.
Check-out is mess. If you take dinner in the hotel, it will be on your room and you have to pay in the morning. So, quick check-out is not possible.
2 people were working in the reception in that morning. But nobody was there in the reception during the busy hours. I had to wait 10 minutes to check-out. There is no bell to call them.
Breakfast: boiled egg + yoghurt + 3 types of bread.
