Hotel Nacional de Cuba

I have felt very comfortable specially with the staff, they are very kind and helpful. I just finished the hotel tour that was very interesting. Yarelis was our hostess and she showed great knowledge about the place. I will recommend the hotel Navional to my friends.

In this hotel the service is excellent, the workers always try to meet our expectations as customers. It is eco friendly, it has a beautiful garden with several species of animals and plants. It keeps intact its initial structure, it is a trip back in time. I love it

The building needs refurbishment , rooms are outdated, bathroom with mold. But most importantly, it’s not safe! Some of my clothes disappeared from my luggage in our room after me and my husband left it for 20 min upon our arrival. Important to highlight, our room had an inner door to the adjoining room. Maybe someone came in through that door rather then from the corridor. Personnel claimed they didn’t see anything on the cameras. We were supposed to stay in this hotel again on our way back, but wanted to cancel explaining the situation given that we didn’t feel safe at all at this hotel!! The hotel refused to refund us. We have not even received any apologies for this incident. We are very disappointed with Hotel Nacional de Cuba which was supposed to be a flagship of the local hotels and the landmark of Havana. This is outrageous!

Perfect location, situated in the heart of the city with easy access to major attractions. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and featured modern amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Staff was friendly and attentive, going out of their way to accommodate our needs. The concierge provided excellent recommendations for local dining and activities. Breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day.

We had a delightful stay at Hotel Nacional. What made our stay so nice was the staff. Hotel Tour Guide. Anabell, was superb. She was knowledgeable, entertaining, and great at communicating the history of the hotel and the country. Her confidence and friendliness made her winsome. Our wait staff, especially Leo and Saidy, greeted us each morning with big friendly smiles and took good care of us. Our housekeeping staff, especially Maivel, was respectful, friendly and eager to help with any needs.

It's the signature hotel in Havana, with a view of the Caribbean that is breathtaking, and at 10 a.m. each morning the staff (meet in the lobby) will take you on a tour of the famous grounds and suites. Not to be missed in Havana, if only for drinks or a meal.

Very beautiful hotel. Rooms are dated need maintenance. But staff is great. I’ve stayed here twice and love the location and amenities. Six bars to choose from in a place famous with the famous. Gorgeous view of the city. Don’t miss Jarelis’ tour of the hotel!

We booked to stay for 4 nights, but checked out early as soon as we could arrange other accommodation. Do not be fooled by the pictures of the stunning entrance hall and rooms. It is a pity that such a historical building and history has gone to waist in my opinion. Cleanliness and service is definitely not the top of the list of this hotel’s priorities. Just as a side note if interested, do not exchange your currency at the hotel’s currency desk, it is a complete ripoff and you will most likely get almost 3 times more value for your exchange outside of the hotel.
