Arden House

I stayed here for 3 nights on a work conference. Excellent hospitality, hosts Jan and Max. Beautiful double room with ensuite facilities. Own shower, toilet and basin the in bedroom. There is lots of storage in the bedroom. A big double bed which was very comfortable and 3 pillows again very comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, vast variety double sided menu and fresh fruits, muesli and home made jams (absolutely delcicious). Nothing was ever too much and they were hugely supportive, kind and caring. The flowers out the front of the property are beautiful, full bloom, huge poppy flowers which are beautiful. A very inviting hotel/bed and breakfast. Towels, toiletries, hairdryer, all provided and a kettled and endless milk, tea, coffee, hot chocolate :D (thank you). The harrogate and crowne plaza is 6mins walk. Its abit if an uphill. But that's not a problem. 9-12minutes walk into town, to see the heritage, buildings and resturants. I would highly recommend the accomodation and its perfect.

I attended a conference held at Harlowgate Convention Center. First of all, it was nice that it was close to the place where the conference was held. I stayed 6 nights with my elementary school daughter. First of all, I was really impressed with the breakfast. For breakfast, you could choose one main menu and use the salad bar. The owner couple's warm service was an unforgettable experience. My daughter loved her breakfast. Thanks to the owner couple's consideration, my first trip to England became a very good memory.

I stayed for 3 nights with friends at this lovely B&B style accommodation, which is only a short walk from the centre of the town. The food was really good and plentiful, and the hosts Jan & Mark could not be more helpful and friendly. I highly recommend a stay at Arden House.

This is B&B style not hotel but the hosts are brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble to make your stay as comfortable as possible and help whenever needed. Food is great good portions and lots of breakfast choice including some excellent homemade muesli. Cooked choices, fruit and cereals. A short walk from the main town bars and restaurants are plentifully. 10 mins walk to the excellent Valley Gardens well worth a visit.

What a lovely place Arden house is. From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome. We were able to park right outside, and given a permit which made life very easy for us not having parking to worry about. We were early but ours rooms were ready. Both rooms had showers and a very comfortable bed and were clean and spacious. The couple that run Arden house were so lovely giving us advice where to go around Harrogate which was a short walk to the center. Breakfast was first class offering beautiful home made jams and bircher muesli, the cooked breakfast was delicious and had plenty of hot choices. They have a lovely bar area where you can help yourself to drinks and pay on check out and wasnt over priced, this was a really nice touch. They also sell the homemade jams, needless to say we came back with 5 jars (should have bought more). We can highly recommend Arden house and will definitely will return there when we next visit Harrogate.

I booked in for a three night, midweek stay at Arden House. I phoned the day before to enquire about parking my works van at the guest house. Mark, the landlord was very helpful and assured me that they would make special arrangements for parking. When I arrived on the Tuesday evening, I was met by Jan, the landlady who showed me the best place to park my works van. I enquired about the best place for an evening meal and was given several brilliant options of where to eat. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. The breakfast menu had a large choice of delicious options. All in all, I'd definitely recommend staying there. 10 / 10.

The place, location, staff and breakfast is actually a 5 but our particularly bedroom and bathroom was really small and, I think, could have been made a little more comfortable despite the size. That said, we hope they will have us back again as the place is lovely, location only a short stroll into Town and the owners fabulous, not to mention the brilliant breakfast.

Mark & Jan we're lovely friendly hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I was in a single room, that was small, but had everything I needed. The facilities were great, from the comfy bed, to the yummy breakfast. The Internet was fast (ideal for me as I needed to do some work whilst I was there) & lashings of hot water for a shower! Everywhere was clean & welcoming. Free car parking was a bonus. It was literally only a 5 min walk to the Harrogate Conference Centre & only a couple of minutes more into the centre of Harrogate. Would definitely recommend.

This was our first time staying and it won’t be our last. Friendly service from start to finish. The breakfast was in incredible especially the homemade Bircher, it was incredible. Lovely room, perfectly clean and ideal location. I wouldn’t now stay anywhere else. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Sharon & Jim
