Ulasan Amber Youth Hostel (Hangzhou West Lake Lakeside Park Ding'an Road Subway Station Branch)

Lokasinya bagus. Kamarnya bersih dan memiliki banyak ruang penyimpanan. Ada sabun di kamar mandi dan shower gel di kamar mandi. Ada air mancur, tapi hati-hati! ! Saya mengalami diare setelah minum air bersuhu ruangan pada hari terakhir! ! ! Untungnya, saudari di meja depan memahami situasi saya dan menunda waktu check-out saya selama satu jam.

Excellent location within walking distance to west lake, Hefang street, etc. There are also buses to take you to most of the must visit sites. There are restaurants within the building or just across the road. The bed is comfortable and there's sufficient storage for your luggage. Plenty of common space to chill after a tire day with cold/hot water dispenser. The cleaners work hard to keep the facilities clean but it's the crowd that's lacking.

Well designed hostel, spacious and the luggage storage is the best in size and design. The shoe area where guests should change into indoor slippers is a good idea and most follow but there are still many who walk around in their outside shoes. Not good. The place is supposed to be smoke free but the stink of spent cigarette smoke is strong around the toilets, showers even the women's. Some of the staff smoke in their room (near the common area/'kitchen' ). There is a plastic curtain that separates the veranda area from the inside of the building however smoke can still waft in especially the back veranda where a whole pane of the curtain has broken off. The cleaning staff worked super hard clearing the trash, hair , water and footprints . It gets cleaner outside the weekend.

The starfs are very friendly. I left my Decathlon towel in the laundry room and they helped me deliver it to Shanghai. Just amazing! The bed is good with that price.

I love to backpack, it's exciting to travel, very good youth hostel, very safety, and convenient, not so far from the Xihu/west lake. One more thing the staff is very exceptional and you can find a live rooms for meetings and streaming.

Big, clean and modern hostel in big building, with collective terrace. Showers are ok, toilet are of the squat sort only. Big lockers in the room working with you key-card, making some noise, as do the room door when closing. Almost no english spoken at the reception, which can result in problems, like when you ask if someone will be there to keep your bag the following day around 6:30am - 7am and, whereas you were answered positively twice, the reception is not even open at 7am. Right in front of the building, a bus (n°7 I think) can bring you to the big temple north west of the lake, and to Meijawu, but for the latter you will have to change bus and take the 103 at some point (ask the reception to make a search on their bus app and take a picture of the result). 5-10 minutes from metro station. Good and cheap restaurant on the same side of the block (on your right ie. to the south, when exiting the building: walk 50m).

Perfect location, it's very easy to travel around in Hangzhou. Affordable price. I had high hopes when looking at the good reviews on Trip, however, it turns out this stay didn't really meet my expectation. There was no English name at the hostel, nice staff, just that they couldn't speak English. The worst thing was the toilet: there was NO western toilet, only the squat toilets, which I found super weird, considering this is a youth hostel. The floor of the toilet wasn't super clean, always wet. I've stayed at tons of hostels, and this is the first hostel I encountered this situation. At least one room with western toilet style would be much appreciated.

Even though the language barriers, the receptionist tried to help me with the translator. It is very big but located in a nice area, close to everything and with good places to eat nearby

Nice location, Clean. Everyone keep quiet, so, you can sleep without any noise. Maybe, like you stay in the department store, surround by food and shops. You can go to Xihu by foot. Close to metro station, very good.

The Bathrooms smelled a bit weiter and people smoked in the Bathroom. The smell of the room wasn’t that good either but for that the other guests are probably to blame. Great location.

The room is clean, but toilet and bathroom quite dirty and smelly. Common area very spacious. Overall is ok.
