Ok, reception is on the 8th floor and rooms are on the 2nd to 5th floor. I can live with this. Rooms are compact, clean. Bed is relatively comfortable. Issues are, mini fridge is set at an ambient temperature so nothing is ever cold. Rooms have no air conditioning. Or if they do it’s centrally controlled. Can’t really keep the window open during the night. As there’s a busy restaurant on the ground floor. So no early nights. Then you have ships passing from the early hours of the morning. Doors to your rooms have no cushioning so you’ll hear them slamming. Hopefully you’re a sound sleeper. As I was woken twice at 3am. Room cleaning is fine but they don’t seem to replenish, tea, coffee etc. Not the best experience.

No airconditioning, funny smell, really noise when neighbours shower or something else in the bathroom, no breakfast included. Too expensive and not a place to recommend among many good hotels in Hamburg.

The noisy toilet and sink are a real letdown, you easily wake up when the neighbours use them. Given the prize of the rooms, this is a nuisance; also, the prize is not quite in harmony with the sparsity of servicesa/facilities available.

Extremely small room (3nd floor/ 2nd etage) at a very high price. Beautiful harbor view, but at night teenagers are noisily partying on the terrace below the window. All the walls in the room and in the hallway are painted completely pitch black. This is very unattractive. Not a place you would ant to stay more than a night or two.

We checked in around 15:30 but there was a long queue (reception area is rather small). We managed to book a late checkout by the reception at 02:00 AM but the Putzdienst was unfortunately not informed. She barged in after knocking and waking us up but was very apologetic. Other than that, the stay was lovely and pleasant. Will definitely come again.

I stayed here because of the convenient location during a business event I was attending.
Parking with a large car was impossible, I had to park in the nearby Holzhafen Parkhaus which was much better.
Noise level within the building is terrible, noisiest room I have stayed in in years. They use some sort of vacuum drainage system for toilets, sink and shower, sounds like in an airplane. The problem is, you can hear it very well from adjacent rooms as well. People walking upstairs or in the hallways, sound like they are walking right next to you. Not a fan of carpets in general but honestly this hotel would need carpets to make the noise level acceptable.
The room was modern and fairly clean, no complaints there.
I don't think I would stay here again.
Service was ok, not super friendly but not too bad either.

Noisy hotel. They don’t consider that people is coming for the sleep. Stay away from this hotel, if you like to sleep on your vacation. Reception on the 8th floor is tiny and you can’t buy alcohol in the machines if you aren’t German. Stupid
