Amazing lake by hotel to stay.

The service of a four-star hotel is not as good as that of a three-star hotel in Thailand. It is just big, the service is not up to par, and the air-conditioning is not very cold. And the first time I saw a bunch of wild dogs at your door at the resort Is this level considered natural or is it just not being managed at all?

Lovely hotel- good amenities and excellent breakfast and dinner buffet. Bed comfortable and super shower. Staff are excellent very attentive and nothing is too much trouble. Our waiter Ruwan was super helpful and friendly- thank you Ruwan for making our stay so lovely.

We stayed here for 2 nights on our Sri Lanka tour due to its proximity to Sigiriya Rock. I have given 4 stars as parts of the hotel particularly the pool & rooms, are in need of some renovation and modernisation. Staff friendly and helpful but too quick to remove plates etc at meal times. A nice big lobby/bar area and spacious dining room. Dinner is a buffet for those like us on the half board option and very good also breakfast fine. Wine is very pricey so we stuck to Lion Beer. The hotel adjoins a lake which is scenic but be careful of mosquitoes. Rooms are serviced & cleaned daily, just a bit dated, but provided with the usual amenities such as toiletries, a fridge, a safe and tea coffee etc. Beds not as comfortable as our previous Cinammon hotel (Trinco Blu) as bit hard and mattresses thinner but adequate for our short break and very quiet at night. We had a lovely elephant towel art creation left on our bed :) Overall the rooms were more basic but we didn’t spend much time in them just for sleeping really so suitable for a short break/stopover.

Great spread ,wonderful food and great hosts Hasitha and sasinika were really nice especially hasitha Would love to visit again with family and friends Just make sure there are compatible charging ports Apart from that the ambience and food were top notch as well as the rooms

We came only for a drink and dinner, so I can't comment on the accommodation. Nevertheless, the atmosphere at the bar and restaurants, which is situated next to the pool and enjoys a view of the great Habarana Lake, was terrific. Two guys were playing and signing some good old tunes in the background of the bar and we were very pleased with the overall service we received from Anjana, Ruwan, and most importantly Dilhani. The food was delicious and I have never seen someone so genuinely happy for me eating everything that was on my plate :-D As a bonus, they gave us two portions of dessert even though there was supposed to be just one in the price of the menu we ordered. What a sweet bunch of young people are serving in this establishment. I can highly recommend this place for dinner.

Feel like home. We were able to enjoy different cuisines other than Sri Lankan in the buffet.Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and helpful.Though it was bit rainy atmosphere was really eye catching.Enjoyed safari ride with breathtaking adventures.

We stayed at Eagle Lodge for two days and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The housekeeping team (Perera, Sunil, Prasanna and Kenady) kept our room very clean and tidy and provided all the necessary facilities. Eagle Lodge is nice, with great interiors and spacious rooms. It is a comfortable and functional space for families to relax. The outside environment is also very peaceful and relaxed. The food is delicious. Especially the Lunumiris is very tasty.

Every Thing was great , place, foods , people all working here , awesome experience I want to thank of sous chef " Anurudda CHandrasiri " for perfect and wonderful foods . The Rooms was so clean ,they even put towel like Elefent for us and thanks for all

Good food, great service....however one of our co-worker had an accident while trying to climb a tree house....the maintenance/ repairs of some areas needed to looked after very seriously to avoid any further damage...otherwise great...

We had a relaxing two-day break at this lovely hotel recently. The very large garden area bordering the lake is absolutely beautiful, particularly if you love big trees, lots of greenery, birds and the peaceful tranquility of being close to nature. It is a wonderful place for long walks, specially early in the morning when the birds are waking up and the sun is not too hot. Food was great, our room was spacious and comfortable (we specially liked the open air shower) and service was top class. Night time entertainment was also nice and relaxing. I would really like the management to have a laid-down policy to manage the community animals (cats and dogs) that roam within the large area of the hotel grounds. Take care of them by sterilising and vaccinating them, and regularly deworm and treat them for ticks and mites. You can even have a hotel mascot cat and dog! Many guests like to pet these stray animals and if large hotel chains like Cinnamon can follow the playbook of hotels in Ella which have in-house dogs it would be a great service for the beautiful and friendly community cats and dogs of Sri Lanka and a wonderful stress-reliever for animal-loving guests at your hotels.

First of all I must mention the excellent customer service provided by the staff. It was beyond expectations. Mr Asanka, the manager was helpful throughout the stay as well as the prior to the stay. The location is a gem. Every one of my family enjoyed a lot including my kid with the serene and green environment. Food was delicious and the buffet spread was excellent. Rooms were spacious and clean. Nicely arranged. WiFi was faster than other hotels too. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay calm and quiet.

I had an unforgettable stay at this hotel! The food was absolutely superb – every dish was rich in flavor and beautifully presented. It truly exceeded my expectations. What stood out just as much was the genuine customer care. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure every part of the stay was smooth and enjoyable. But the highlight for me was the incredible calmness of the environment. I’ve never experienced anything like it before – the peaceful ambiance, accompanied by the gentle sound of the nearby lake, created the most soothing atmosphere. It’s something words can’t fully explain – you just have to feel it. Overall, this place offers a perfect blend of comfort, flavor, and tranquility. I’d highly recommend it to anyone needing a peaceful getaway. Definitely planning to return!
