Our first time in Bahamas. We skipped right over Nassau and went to the more secluded island ELEUTHERA. Stayed at Daddy Joes for one week and couldn’t have picked a better location, vibe, beach, eatery, chill spot, hostess. Tiffany and her family are in business to take care of your every need. The rooms are cozy w/ ample AC, the bed is by far one of the comfiest we have ever slept in, the most beautiful quiet beach is a 5 minute walk across the street, glass window is a 5 minute drive, food and drinks are strong, cold and very delicious. Sandra cooks up mouth watering, very tasty hearty meals. Everything is FRESH and bursting with flavor. A few evenings during the week the property closes to it’s guest only entertainment with games, food, music, drinks and best of all getting to know other guests. The island is 110 miles long so to cover the whole island takes time. When on this island, you have to chill out and adjust to the “island time”, things move A LOT slower then most places. The service on the entire island is particularly slow **so please be mind full as I watched several other tourist get worked up over this minor detail. The only main road in ELEUTHERA has only two lanes, no lights and pot holes. Be off the road come night fall. Relax, take it all in, and enjoy the island vibe.
