Super 8 by Wyndham Greenville

Nice helpful folks at the front desk. Far away from the highway to be quite. Rooms were large , well laid out and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was a bit of a disappoin**ent but most motel breakfasts are.

A visit to TAMU-Commerce for a retired professors reception and concert. Greenville offers more choices for hotels. The hotel was clean, with hard floors, and bathroom very clean. There was a hole in the bedspread from a burn (cigarette in non-smoking room?) Very large room!

Motel was clean, remodeled but older. Everything worked well. The front desk lady was Sweet . Bed super comfortable, and had all the expected amenities, coffee pot in room with supplies, ironing board & iron, Breakfast was the only downside - coffee only , no tea, cold cereal, oa**eal packets, milk and apples 🍎 ! But for a night stay, well worth it ! Bring some hard boiled eggs or protein shake ! But right across the street McDonald's and a Arby's ! You could walk there ! Oh & bring water - no water dispenser in lobby or at Breakfast !

First, there are so many stains across the floor, the ceiling, and the walls they have not bothered with cleaning. Second, there are crickets and roaches everywhere. Falling from the roof. Coming through the cracks in the walls. Do not leave any of your luggage open and unzipped unless you want uninvited visitors to tag along with you for the entire time you’re in Texas. There was a cricket in my Pants ! If I could give a Negative review I would give it a -5/10. I’ve been to many super 8’s and this is by far the worst one we have ever stayed at. We will Not be staying here again.

A/c had issues cooling so we were able to move to another room. Mirror had a large crack and will be replaced soon.

Staff was rude about our pets and overcharged us for them. Room was dirty with messes in the bathroom and the floors were filthy. The air was off when entering so the entire room was extremely hot and stuffy(Texas in July).

Steer clear of this place. It is dirty and run down. Floor had not been swept or mopped in god knows how long, the top bed cover had visible stains, housekeeper did not rinse cleaner out of shower/tub, baseboards and corners where full of grime and hair. Overall dirty and run down.

The room was filthy. If it weren't for being exhausted from our 12 hour car ride we would have left right away. I was so uncomfortable in our room I barely slept and literally had nigh**ares when I did. The floor had not been washed in months or possibly years, there were nasty splatters of who knows what all over the walls, the base boards were pealing away from the walls, the TV had a thick line running through it, the fridge did not get cold, the ironing board was so disgusting with stains , our non-smoking room had burn holes in the sheets, the bathroom exhaust fan rattled so loudly when turning on the light. The night manager ran into our room before we entered and went into the bathroom with a screwdriver and said he was told the exhaust fan was ready to come down but said it was fine. That was not the case. The smoke detector had tape or plastic hanging from it as if another occupant tried to cover it up so they could smoke in the room. Upon turning our key in to the same night manager the next morning, we told him of how disgusted we were with the condition of the room and he remained completely silent. I'm sure he hears the same complaints all of the time. Before checking in to the Super 8, we also checked out the other hotels in that area and they seemed to be just as bad or worse. It looked as if the occupants were long-term tenants who where drinking alcohol in the parking, scoping out their surroundings and tossing litter where they pleased. The whole experience there was like a horror movie. I highly recommend skipping Greenville altogether and head to the next town.

Giant pothole in driveway going back to rooms with 2 rebar sticking out at a 45° angle. Perfect for popping tires of those who don't notice in time. Overwhelming, constant smell of pot from room next door and probably more. Walls in room and bathroom have splatters on them of who knows what. Stain on sheets...so glad we took our own. Breakfast...lol. Carb heaven for those who love nothing but pre-packaged, tiny sweets.
