Stayed at this beautiful hotel for two nights. Very clean and comfortable and excellent friendly staff. Beautiful swimming pools and tennis courts, also pool tables. For those into fitness there is a Gym on the property with all sorts of equipment for exercising. Ipad size safe in the room. WIFI, breakfast, and onsite parking included. Would definately return someday....hopefully for a longer stay.

We had a lovely stay in Casa Roland Golfto. It was central for us to visit local national parks. The pools are great and you can look out and watch the scarlet macaws, toucans and other wildlife. The staff were very good apart from a mix up with a food order then the kitchen and bar staff went cold on us for the duration of our stay. ( even though we paid the total bill )
Rooms clean, good car park area. Breakfast was very local and not really to our taste.

The room was clean. The air conditioning in our room worked but was an older unit so made a lot of noise. The pool is beautiful and clean. The food in the restaurant on the grounds was not as good as it has been and we have stayed there for the last 5 years.

Room was clean. Maintenance replaced the hair dryer promply as it did not work. No hand rowels, only 2 bath towels. Restaurant was expensive and only average quality. No pizza bar as advertised. Breakfast was ok.

Very pretty property that isn’t kept up well. Had maintenance for plumbing issues twice. Toilet ran constantly. It basically screamed 24/7

This is an excellent value. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, which was like an expensive resort at a great non-resort price. Definitely look forward to staying again when we're back in Golfito.

This is just a wonderful place. The staff is so friendly and happy. This is our second time there and we will go back as often as we can and we recommend it all the time. Its a little slice of paradise in a secluded part of Costa Rice. The bay is beautiful. We hope to spend more time next year so we can explore the area more.

Friendly and helpful staff.
But the rooms need to be better maintained. We had to see 4 rooms because the first room had very poor wifi. The second room had no safe, the third had poor lighting and air conditioning.
Finally, we chose the room with good wifi, near the reception area, good AC cooling, and the staff brought in two reading lamps and transferred a safe over from another room, but it wasn’t bolted in. Lastly, the TV was not a smart TV, so we couldn’t watch international news in English, and cable TV had only 4 English channels. Our bathroom sink had a leaky hot water faucet, so the staff merely shut it off at the bottom. It served the purpose when we needed hot water.
The food was tasty, and service really good.
