Three brothers all three bearded Barbus had the idea in 1968 to build an hotel-restaurant in a part of the family property. Today the same family since origin owns this magnificent building built with stone walls located on the mountainside overlooking the valley Camisard center of the struggle of the Protestants of the Cevennes. All rooms offer views of the valley where the Gardon River flows. The restaurant offers a cuisine based on Mediterranean and Cevennes products. An interesting hotel. Magnificent position overlooking a river gorge and the viaduct with the steam train. Staff lovely, helpful and friendly. Easy parking. We had a gorge-view room with balcony. Decent size and good housekeeping. Restaurant first-class with great food. Short menu but varied for us over our stay. Service very professional. Good position for exploring the Cevennes. Recommended.

Our room was lovely - overlooking the river and the wooded hillside. Very clean, beautifully equipped, nice large shower, good quality bedding and tea and coffee facilities and a fridge. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and keen to ensure you were happy. The hotel overall was spotlessly clean and lots of comfortable places to sit in, inside and outside. The culinary experience was delightful, breakfast was abundant and there was lots to choose from. Dinner was a gourmet experience with great ambience. We loved this place and will definitely return.

What a wonderful hotel and restaurant. The location is attractive but it is the welcome from the owner and his family that was special and made such a good expression from the start of our short one night stay. Even better was the excellent dinner cooked by the owner. Definitely a place to stay and enjoy.

Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits dans cet établissement, que du bonheur. En pleine nature, et à quelques km (peu) d'Anduze c'est le paradis. Magnifique vue de la chambre et du restaurant, hôtel calme. Personnel très accueillant, Petit déjeuner copieux, restaurant excellent digne d'un restaurant étoilé Bravo au Chef qui est même venu saluer ses clients. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir

La vue sur la vallée est splendide, les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables avec une salle de bain luxueuse Piscine et randonnées au programme Le restaurant vaut une étoile (il est d’ailleurs curieux que le guide Michelin ne mentionne pas cet établissement)

Wij bezochten dit hotel in de namiddag om het restaurant te bekijken voor de lunch een paar dagen laten. Dit werd botweg geweigerd, zonder opgaaf van reden. Voor ons reden om meteen weg te gaan en natuurlijk geen reservering te maken.

Nous nous sommes vraiment régalés tant au restaurant qu'à l'hôtel. Un accueil et une déco super sympas. Des petites attentions, des sourires. le tout y était malgré la pluie;) Nous reviendrons et recommanderons cet établissement.

Cadre très très agréable en pleine nature, avec vue magnifique sur la rivière, accueil très sympathique et pro, PDJ plutôt varié, piscine très agréable. Mention spéciale au chef du restaurant et à son équipe qui réalise une cuisine digne d'un étoilé. Vraiment excellent, d'une grande finesse, les associations de gouts sont juste parfaites. Les chambres sont très correctes, nous avions été surclassés, mais seule remarque : établissement qui commence un peu à se défraîchir, un petit coup jeune serait pertinent pour un 4 étoiles. Merci à vous, nous avons passé un super séjour.
