Agriturismo & Cantina Tenuta Casteani

We stayed here as we were attending a wedding nearby. The staff was AMAZING. They were friendly and extremely helpful. It’s clear they care about their guests! The property has some amazing grounds and views. We were a little disappointed with the pool area though- it has so much potential but was a bit dirty and cluttered when we visited. I think this might just be because it’s early in the season. If it were a little more spruced up, I bet we would have spent several afternoons relaxing out there! The rooms were fine- nothing too special but they were clean and comfortable. The food was wonderful- we really enjoyed our dinner. Breakfast was available between 8-9:30am and was typically an assor**ent of breads/pastries, fruit, yogurt, eggs, and juices. If you’re headed to this area, definitely spend a few nights here!

For whatever reason they wouldn’t allow me to leave a review on Google but wanted to share my experience. Had to stay there one night and I wouldn’t recommend. Beautiful property but that was about it. Pool area could use some tlc but the worst part of our stay was when checking out the gentleman said it would be $14 to “rent” 2 towels…. But for me he will “give me a deal” I can’t say anything about the food because the restaurant was closed that night so we had To go to the nearest town ( which he recommended his driver) and the driver wanted 240$ to take us 20 min away. Lol. It was just a bad business practice. Spend a little more and go to the winery next store, top notch.

My now husband and I got married at Tenuta Casteani. It was the most wonderful time Valentina and the whole staff were amazing, the food is still talked about. Everyone told us it was the best wedding they had been to. It’s a beautiful place with amazing views. Nothing but wonderful things to say about this place we will definitely come back.

Let me start by saying that this resort looks great. Amazing views. I am here for a friend’s wedding and many of the guests here at the hotel are as well. When we arrived to the gate, which is a bit remote btw, no one answered, which left us a bit worried. Mind you it is about 97 degrees F with high humidity. Eventually we were let in to the property after calling their phone line several times. When we get to the property all seems well, although we were never offered any water or a cool beverage. We brought Our own champagne and asked for ice, which we were told “we don’t have because of water issues”. We got to the room, upstairs, which was about 100 degrees because they didn’t have any air conditioning running. They have one small air conditioning unit in the room which sits in a divided entry way. We turned it on max immediately and hoped for the best. This was a bit frustrating after a two hour drive and wanting to take a nap from jet lag. After about an hour and a half I discovered the AC did a great job of cooling the entryway, but not the bedroom. We went to a welcome dinner at a property next door and I came back to the property to retrieve some things. To my surprise, the key fop we were given to open the gate didn’t work. I tried pressing the call button and calling the number listed on the sign. Nothing worked. So after 20 or 30 min someone drove up behind me and opened the gate. I went back to the room, which was still in the 80s to 90s to retrieve my things and return to the dinner. I drive down the long driveway, and the gate doesn’t open. Now I’m trapped on property with no way to return to my friends. Luckily my travel partner was able to ride home with another guest who is staying here. I feel very lucky there were other guests from the wedding, otherwise I may have never been able to get back to my room. So I returned to the room which only cooled down somewhat when I was able to open the bedroom window, as it was somewhat cooler. There are no fans within the room so I got about 3 hours of sleep lying on a bed sweating throughout the night. We are staying another two nights but not sure about that since I can’t stand another two nights of sleepless sweating.

Wir haben im Mai 2023 im Tenuta Casteani geheiratet. Wir waren von Mittwoch bis Sonntag da, am Freitag gab es ein Willkommensessen mit allen Gästen, am Samstag die Hochzeit und am Sonntag noch ein Brunch. Wir können das Casteani nur herzlichst weiterempfehlen. Insbesondere Lilian hat sich um alles so toll und herzlich gekümmert, wir mussten keinen Finger rühren und uns wurden die Wünsche schon von den Lippen abgelesen, bevor wir sie überhaupt aussprechen konnten. Auch in der Planungsphase wurden wir super unterstützt. Das gesamte Ambiente im Tenuta Casteani ist wunderschön und lädt zum Genießen ein. Der eigens hergestellte Wein, wie auch das Essen, ist einfach nur lecker. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch unsere Gäste haben mehrfach betont, wie gut es ihnen gefallen hat. Wir hatten unsere Traumhochzeit dank der guten Unterstützung des Personals.

Ottimo posto per coppia! Romantico e intimo, molto rilassante! Soprattutto la piscina esterna. Consigliatissimo fermarsi a cena o per aperitivo, la cucina è veramente ottima anche i vini! Se appassionati il giro in cantina è bello ed esplicativo. Quello che rende tutto perfetto è lo staff: gentilissimo e disponibile, assolutamente affidatevi a loro per cosa fare o dove andare a mangiare! In particolare la ragazza bionda della reception, veramente un angelo tuttofare!

Abbiamo passato 5 giorni meravigliosi in mezza pensione! Personale super gentile, posto molto romantico e cibo delizioso sia a colazione che a cena. Anche la nostra cagnolina è stata accolta nel migliore dei modi. Torneremo sicuramente, grazie Tenuta Casteani ♥️

Io, mio marito, il nostro bimbo di 2 mesi e altre due coppie di amici (di cui una con anche loro una neonata di 2 mesi e mezzo) abbiamo soggiornato 4 giorni in questo splendido agriturismo! Location mozzafiato, tenuta incantevole: bellissima, curata e pulita, personale gentilissimo e super disponibile: da Sabrina e i suoi dolci squisiti (per non parlare dei fantastici light lunch che preparavano su nostra richiesta tutti i giorni visto che passavamo le giornate nella tenuta a bordo piscina), a Laura, Federico enologo con il quale abbiamo fatto visita cantina e degustazione, Lorenzo chef giovane ma molto bravo: le cene erano squisite!la signora che si occupa delle pulizie, e il gestore "tutto fare" il signore di cui ci sfugge il nome ... tutti bravissimi e super accoglienti anche con i nostri piccoli. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa! Consigliatissimo sia a famiglie, coppie (angoli molto romantici), sia a gruppi di amici. Ci torneremo senza ombra di dubbio!!! Rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente. Sono stati giorni di puro relax (e se lo dice la mamma di un neonato vuol dire molto!). Bravissimi!

Paesaggio bello...ma per come mi credevo l'aperitivo non è stato come mi pensavo e da come ho visto nella pubblicità...solo affettati e formaggi...vino bianco buono..ma il rosso freddo di frigo ,niente musica di sottofondo. Delusa!!!!
