What a great 4 nights we spent at this hotel! Everything was superb- the room was perfect ( such a comfortable bed, heating you could adapt to your needs a good-sized balcony where you could relax after walking around in the beautiful scenery ). The breakfasts were great; staff were very pleasant and helpful; situated very close to train and bus links; short walk down to Garmisch. Wish we'd had s longer stay.

This is a delightful hotel, located in the Partenkirchen area of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the bus/train station: it's a 15 minute walk to the Olympic Stadium (where we hiked) and 15 minute walk to Garmisch (where we ate dinner each night). For us, the location was perfect. The hotel is delightful: impeccably clean, cozy, and homey, with lots of natural light and blonde wood. The beds are comfortable, and our room had lots of space, including two wing-back chairs with footstools, which allowed us to rest after hiking. The staff are professional and accommodating, providing help when asked. Breakfast was delicious and peaceful, served in a bright, spacious dining area. We would stay here again and highly recommend the hotel.

This is a quaint little hotel located within walkable distance from the train station, with excellent breakfast with made-to-order eggs. The hotel is also environmentally conscious which is commendable. LAttentive staff, lovely modern clean room and bathroom with great shower.

Hotel Alpengruss was amazing! The rooms are recently renovated and absolutely beautiful. They are also very well soundproofed, if that is a concern. The owner family are all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent! No need to post photos, because the ones posted by the hotel are perfectly accurate. I communicated a number of times via email from the US with Gabi and Ana prior our arrival and they were always responsive. We stayed in the Junior Suite, and I felt the rate was very reasonable, particularly considering the quality of the lodging and the breakfast.

We are currently traveling through Oberbayern and stayed in this Hotel for three nights. The room was bigger than expected, the furnitures very stylish in Bayern Style. Very nice. The service was friendly and efficient, the room was clean. Everything was working as expected. The Breakfast was great with a lot of choices and you can even have freshly made eggs in any style. We will come back.

We had a fantastic stay in this hotel. The check in process was easy, we had arrived at Garmisch station at 2pm, so after an easy 5 minute walk from the station we were able to check in as soon as we arrived. We were welcomed by a lovely roaring fire in the reception area. We booked a suite which was on the second floor, and was simply amazed by the quality of the refurbishment they had taken place. We couldn’t fault it. Breakfast was lovely. A platter of cold meats and cheeses and all the extras one would expect. The chap on breakfast duty deserves a medal. He copes very well with all the replenishment and cooking eggs to everyone’s taste. Over all we really couldn’t fault this hotel and will definitely be back. The only comment we would make is the possibility of supplying a kettle in the rooms. The hotel do supply tea and coffee nearby to the breakfast room, but the luxury of being able to make a cuppa in your room when we need it, would be great. Thank you Hotel Alpengruss for a lovely stay.

Very nice place in residential area within a little walk to restaurants and rail station. Excellent staff, Excellent included breakfast. Drawbacks are No Elevator and No Air Con. Some rooms could be hot hot in the summer, probably ok the rest of the year. Parking for about 10 cars onsite, beyond that on the street nearby which to me was not a big deal.

Hotel in gran parte ristrutturato. La camera in cui abbiamo alloggiato era molto confortevole e ampia.Il personale addetto alla colazione è molto gentile e disponibile.L'albergo si trova a 15/20 minuti a piedi sia dal centro Di Garmisch che Partnerkirchen.
