The hotel was very clean, well maintained, and the breakfast was very good considering it was included for free. Overall, I thought it was excellent value for money given the central location on Funchal.

Hotel muito bem localizado no centro do Funchal, quarto grande, boa cama, bom pequeno almoço e funcionários simpáticos, único senão o check-in tem de ser efetuado até às 00h00.

Stayed for 4 nights 18th -22nd March having previously stayed 9 years ago. Very convenient for everything & on the flat. Plenty of choice at breakfast.

Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was also very good. Plenty of fruit and many options.

We were given a warm welcome on arrival. Rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable, serviced everyday. Bathroom was adequate, face cloths were a lovely, extra, welcome surprise. Breakfast room comfortable and array of choices good. Plain yoghurt was excellent as was scrambled egg! Staff all very pleasant and helpful. Hotel is in a perfect location. Roof terrace is great, sun loungers very comfortable. Bar offers snacks and drinks all of which are reasonably priced.

Very central for restaurants and shops, a few blocks from the sea, I would recommend this hotel, good breakfast buffet

The rooms were clean and functional, although slightly dated. The bar was excellent, very reasonable prices, good service and a fantastic view. The location was perfect, everything we could have asked for

Wonderful, helpful staff. Close to old town Funchal and the La Vie shopping centre for supplies. The continental breakfast had plenty of choices. The top floor pool and restaurant area were wonderful. I highly recommend the Hotel Madeira

Great location, we weren't able to have breakfast but they kindly made us breakfast boxes to go.

Fantastic hotel in the middle of Funchal Beds are very comfortable
