we were then sent to another concierge desk to activate our wristbands for our stay and this was a painful experience that left us extremely uncomfortable. The agent, Giovanni, that helped us was extremely friendly at first and was having small talk about where we’re from and how great the resort is. But then towards the end, he was explaining that we would get a free $200 to spend anywhere on the resort if we were to take a quick 90-min “welcome tour”. I knew this sounded fishy because he was pushing this welcome tour heavily and a free $200 sounded too good to be true. I quickly looked it up and saw other reviews saying to avoid this tour as it can take up to 4 hours and they’re just pushing you to purchase timeshare. I respectfully declined the welcome tour and the agent was extremely persistent and would not take no for an answer. I was getting irritated and plainly asked “is this mandatory?” Giovanni obviously couldn’t say yes so he kept pushing us to put a $30 deposit to lock us in. He called his manager who kept asking why we wouldn’t take the tour and I just said we don’t want to. After the manager agreed to us not going on the tour, Giovanni completely ignored us and his whole demeanor changed. Obviously he was being fake nice the whole time. This definitely started off our experience here in an extremely negative way.
•Shuttle service: so inconvenient. We were told it will come every 15 - 20 min, we waiting an hour for ours to come.
