The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. The spa treatments were excellent and the resteraunt food gorgeous. The service was efficient. The grounds were lovely to walk in and the golf course was great. All in all I would recommend.

Had a voucher bought for a present for a kitchen garden tour and lunch. The garden tour was so interesting, sorry can't remember the lady's name, can certainly recommend this tour for any budding gardeners who want to grow their own fruit and veg, learnt such a lot. Lunch in the clocktower was amazing with exceptional service.

First class hotel and spa.spa was luxurious and amazing with plenty of areas to relax outdoor and indoor.Had a bar for drinks and a cafe/bistro.Had a wonderful facial.Rooms were spacious and very clean.Dinner was really nice.A bit busy at breakfast but staff did their best to sort things out.All the staff were so attentive and helpful.

Lovely site on arrival, great amenities. We booked a fully serviced Tourer pitch Thursday-Sunday stopping on B pitches. So quiet on Thursday but member of staff warned us it would liven up on Friday. Did it ever…..Saturday afternoon was Ibiza Anthems loudly right behind us over the hedge with every other word the ‘F’ word. I went round politely asked the two sets of couples if they could turn the music down slightly to get abuse….’11 o clock it’ll go off’ was the reply. The two rows of permanent caravans behind row B I would describe as ‘like a travellers camp’. We called management twice, nothing happened…..shouting and swearing until 1am ! We complained on our way out to be offered money off our next visit…you are joking. The rest of the park was lovely, the permanent residents keep their pitches immaculate and know how to behave but be aware if you like to sit outside on your pitch close to the row near the open grass pitches….you will have to endure others taste in music….very loudly.

A Wonderful afternoon tea yesterday for my husband’s special birthday. The staff are so wonderful and welcoming. We were made to feel very special and the tea was so elegant and delicious. A good selection of teas and coffees and beautiful sandwiches and delicious freshly baked scones and gorgeous cakes.

This was the third time my husband and I had stayed at Rudding Park. The service has always been excellent but this time it was outstanding! As we approached the hotel, driving through the beautiful 200 acre grounds, we were met by a member of staff who pointed us in the right direction to unload our car and check in. There was improvement work going on outside the reception area, which could have made it tricky to park. But thanks to the forward thinking of the management, this was avoided. The moment we pulled up outside, one of the lovely receptionists raced out to greet us and scooped us up, along with our luggage. She arranged for our car to be parked for us in the car park so we didn't need to think about it. She checked us in and carried all our bags to our room, even though we were happy to carry them ourselves! We were chatting to her in the lift and mentioned it was our third visit to Rudding Park and we were celebrating our wedding anniversary that day. After we'd got settled in the room, we went for a walk to explore our stunning surroundings, including the chef's garden and the hotel's very own historical chapel, which boasts intricate stone carvings by Italian stonemasons. When we returned, we made ourselves a coffee and there was a knock at the door. The lovely receptionist had returned with a complimentary bottle of bubbly and a hand written card to wish us a happy anniversary! Such a thoughtful and special touch. The decor at Rudding Park is luxurious and contemporary. The bedrooms are clean, spacious, modern and comfortable. Ours had a view of the gardens. The food at dinner in the Clocktower Restaurant and breakfast in the conservatory the next morning, were delicious and once again, the service was first-class. When we ordered our dessert, we were presented with a plate of chocolates with happy anniversary inscribed on it - another lovely gesture. After dinner we had a wander around a part of the hotel we hadn't seen before and we were delighted to find a library, rooms with antique paintings and architectural plans for Rudding Park's expansions over the years. The library was full to the brim of fascinating books, some of which dated back over 150 years. In my feedback form to the hotel, after our stay, I suggested that this could become a feature for guests, if it was signposted and the books and paintings were labelled to show their origin - a little historical tour maybe. The manager very kindly responded to my comments and sent me a fascinating fact file of the hotel. Everything about Rudding Park is amazing. It's set in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. Its staff are friendly, professional and can't do enough for you. They are happy in their work and there's plenty of them, which is unusual to see nowadays when places are constantly cutting costs. Just returned from another welcome break to Rudding park.On arrival we received a room upgrade this was a great surprise and was really appreciated. As usual the room was very clean and tidy with nice views of the park. We dined at the clocktower restaurant first class service and great food in the conservatory. Can't wait to return for another relaxing break.

From start to finish, our spa overnight stay was amazing- the facilities are fantastic but what really stood out was the attention to detail from the staff- nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond throughout our stay. The rooftop terrace is a dream particularly with the sunny weather we had and our massage was amazing. Will definitely return- the best spa stay we have had!
