What could have been a total disaster when we arrived, manager and assistant made memorable. Our room had 2 single beds and poor air conditioning. I had ordered king size. No same type room was available, so was offered a deal for over water villa that made it a very sweet taste of living on the ocean. After that, I have no negative comments. Well worth the stay. Water even seemed cleaner than North Male.

What a place!!! Magnificent views all around, beautiful sea, very friendly staff, with great thanks to Shameem & Naveen at the blue lagoon bar for making our stay enjoyable. The place has given more than I expected from the island. We stayed in a beautiful water villa, very private, views all around, watched the sun setting from our decking area.

It’s an hotel very clean and beautiful with an extraordinary view and many excursions that you have to do ! I advise it a lot !! The restaurant have an extraordinary variety and the staff of the hotel are very kindness and shy including during the excursions.

This is an amazing privately owned island, which is a gem of a find. If you want calmness, relaxation and great service, then this is the place to go. This is our second visit and would happily come back again. The island has lovey, clean rooms and does not have crazy numbers of people, so at meal times, the beaches are deserted. The island offers some great snorkel trips but i would advise you to be strong swimmers (the sea can be rough and many of the trips are in very deep water, as you jump into the sea from a boat). The views around the island are breathtaking and the food is awesome (they also cater for vegan/lactose intolerance and gluten intolerance) vegetarian food was a little sparse, but we ate vegan at lot of the time, which we still lovely but can get a little boring due to limited options, especially when you see all the other delights on offer, but are not vegetarian (including cakes etc) The service was outstanding, the staff could not do any more for us. There was a wide range of visitors from all sorts of countries (a large proportion of German/Russian people) the library was more geared towards German, which suggests the larger number of visitors were probably from there. We stuck to our Amazon Kindles, so didn’t need the library anyway. There were also options to hire boats, jet skis and snorkels if you needed them, plus the possibility of gaining a full PADI diving license for anyone who wanted to do it (all had extra costs). There was a little shop on the island, but it is expensive for essentials (such as snorkels or suntan lotion) because it all has to be imported in, which is understandable. Therefore, make sure you take whatever items you need with you. If you want to experience the Maldives without the commercial craziness or the major corporation chain aspect, this is a great island to visit.

In short: For our sixth visit to the Maldives, we were recommended Fiha. Excellent food, spacy and clean bungalows, many mosquitoes and a mediocre reception, combined with pleasant sandy beach with a tiny coral reef and quite a few fishes. If you like dolphins - that is your island. If you like advanced snorkeling or god forbid diving – better go somewhere else. Long version: Very green island, middle sized, South Male atoll, about 45-60 mins per boat. 150 rooms, millions of mosquitoes, which although the island is being covered in smoke every day at around 4 for about an hour - are still there. Even the cheapest rooms, garden bungalows are huge, very well equipped ( no TV though, but free internet with a good reception and decent speed, enough for streaming is available almost everywhere), relatively new, tons of amenities, cleaned two times a day to perfection. Reception is a bit clueless. We had two rooms on the same reservation, with kids. We get two bungalows, 4 buildings apart. We had to specially ask for neighboring rooms, which was after all granted, which we do appreciate, but is still strange, that we had to explicitly ask for it. Due to the bad weather trips were constantly postponed. The one trip that was confirmed, and we got written notice the same morning turned out to be cancelled as well in the afternoon. No notice for the cancellation whatsoever. When you ask at the reception if some event is taking place, they usually do not know. The yoga master for the previously confirmed yoga class was summoned by phone 3 min before the class was supposed to start, nobody knew if the class would take place or not. Paying the last day was also somewhat strange, cashier was theoretically there, but no one could pay (some friend has similar problems throughout the day) and it was not due to a technical issue, but the guy was not there, he was having lunch, there was supposed to be an additional payment due (guess what, there wasn’t). A somewhat unserious attitude as a whole. The food is indeed excellent. Variety is not great, but more than enough and everything is very tasty, quite a few local dishes always there and amounts are ample - food is being served and brought out of the kitchen almost until the last minute. Personnel are very helpful, polite and nice. Water is unlike many other islands for free. Special thanx to Teddy. During our stay we needed a doctor for the kid, he was extremely friendly and professional, his help is much appreciated, a big personal thank you. As for the sea and snorkeling, this is where things go sour. Very strong currents on the eastern beach, a lifeguard is patrolling there, which is somewhat unpleasant, because he rushes people out of the water even if no real danger is present. No binoculars, no boat, no other life saving equipment present. There are no buoys indicating the current strength and/or direction, so everything is done on a feeling. The most advantageous combination of cost, quality, beautiful beach, food, house reef and staff attentiveness. Very professional and organised staff. Boat serves was absolutely smooth and punctual. All members of staff on this resort know what they are doing. Overall, truly amazing resort with absolutely gorgeous tropical green plants and tall palm trees with lots of natural shade. Top quality of cleanliness both in the rooms and everywhere in the resort. Great variety of food, super delicious, especially the sea food and fish dishes. Good plus is the sushi night every Thursday. Special thanks to all hard working kitchen staff, all chefs, waiters and all guys who serve the water during the buffet style lunch and dinner. We really enjoyed the Movie nights and the traditional Maldivian night with live music and dance. We also had stunning breath-taking sunsets every day on the beach bar. We already recommended the resort to our friends and we will defiantly come back again. A big thank you to everyone on Fihalhohi resort!

We had a wonderful time during the week . Great bar, rooms, and restaurant . Professional and very nice staff. A special note to our assigned operator Vanisha (club coralia) . She s very nice, she explained everything and helped us whenever we were in need . Also the Animator Younas was very easygoing and nice to talk with. Little note to the restaurant : italians are not (often) used to maldivian spicy food , so it should be signed somehow , in order to avoid it if needed. Highly recommended though

Hello, we had very beautiful time, good service, comfortable beaches, we loved all about island. Actually we really liked all , and I feel sad, that I should share same negative aspects that we unfortunately had. We had guide Vanisha, that was not really professional. She gives a lot attention to married men. I thought it’s only me who noticed that, but after I spoke to some women who also had the same impression. Even my husband told that sometimes he felt uncomfortable. And we had one very bad situation where she really put us in very negative emotions as a couple. Obviously to be a guide it’s mean to be an sociable person, but it’s good also to know the limit and to be intelligent and to respect relation of the married couple. We would love to come back to Fihalhohi, but if Vanisha is there we hardly find it possible.

So, I want to say that here it’s Heaven on the Earth my friends. The island it’s wonderful with a lot of nature and you can find also a wonderful house rief . All the employees are very polite and they will help you at any moment ! The food was Great ! For sure I will come again in a few years. I was looking for a resort with a good house reef and Fihalhohi met my expectations! A lof of colour fishes, even one morning dolphins came close to the shore, baby sharks! I only didnt see any rays, nor turtles, but it doesnt mean you will not see them there, probably a matter of luck. The beach is beautiful, and the color of water is stunning! at some part of the beach there is a lot of dead corals and its good to have some beach shoes. We visitet Fiha in June and the waves were sometimes big and current strong, I highly recommend to snorkel with fins! Aaccomodation was modest but clean and neat. Cleaning service 2 times a day. Food was really good, a lot of variety, especially of meat, less fish. Good wine and drinks. Staaf was very friendly and helpful! I really recommend this place for relaxing and beautiful holidays! The resort looks way better than on the pictures!

We chose this resort for our vacation for the second time after a two-year break. Now in October, we spent one week here and were again satisfied. And what's more, the resort is now even more beautiful than in 2021. New beaches ( snad bank) have been added around the Laguna bar where we enjoyed our favorite beer now very ofen. We thank the staff team for their attention and perfect service. Good job Laguna guys... Thanks also go to our waiter in the buffet restaurant Yooh who was very friendly and his jokes were very pleasant for us. Overall, we liked the meal in the hotel, but the selection of fruit in Fiha is poorer than in other resorts we visited. We missed papaya, passion fruit and bananas. , but the selection of desserts and appetizers was excellent. Cleanliness and order in the entire resort is at an excellent level, and also the organization of Checkin and checkout is flawless. There is an experienced team of managers, which is a guarantee of well-organized work. We thank everyone for a nice holiday and send to Fiha greetings from Slovakia. Katarina & Zdenko

The staff wete so friendly and helpful, it was my birthday while i was there so they decorated my table made me a cake and got lots of free drinks! Beautiful beaches and very quiet and tranquil.

RESORT CONSIGLIATO!!! Punti forti: - il verde abbondante e rigoglioso, ben curato - il reef a portata di mano - la ricchezza di fauna marina che puoi osservare facendo snorkeling (compreso non di rado tartarughe, squali, aquile di mare e mante) - il colore stupendo del mare - la bellissima spiaggia a nord dell'isola (di cui una parte è sempre ben riparata anche in caso di mare un po' mosso) - la possibilità di trovare sempre ombra naturale in spiaggia - la tranquillità e la pace - la cortesia di (quasi) tutto il personale - il WiFi è potente e disponibile OVUNQUE (il che purtroppo è anche un punto negativo in quanto c'è chi rimane fisso allo schermo anche sulla sdraio...) Punti deboli: - i coralli stanno lentamente ed inesorabilmente morendo (come un po' ovunque a causa del Global Warming) - non è possibile fare snorkeling lungo tutto l'anello del reef (vedi mappa) come su altre isole tipo Embudu - scomodo il fatto di avere le sdraio numerate per stanza, ti scoraggia a cambiare posto (noi abbiamo un po' faticato per trascinare le nostre sdraio fino al punto più bello dell'isola e da lì non ci siamo più mossi) - ci sono solo due docce in spiaggia su tutta l'isola, un paio in più non avrebbero guastato NB: - l'acqua è inclusa ad ogni pasto e in camera arriva una bottiglia d'acqua a testa al giorno - le camere meglio posizionate sono quelle a nord-est (vedi mappa)

Stayed for2 weeks on crutches.All staff were brilliant.We stayed in a beach villa room that got cleaned twice a day .Had an anniversary meal on the beach and it was brilliant.If you want a chilled out holiday this is the place to go.Beach very clean and lovely blue sea.You won’t be disappointed.See you next June .
