We would definitely stay here again. 4 star instead of 5 only for a few reasons that aren’t super important to most - could use better towels and 2 per person instead of one; half and half for coffee (although I was able to use French vanilla creamer) breakfast is very rudimentary (frozen waffles, bagels, yogurt, and a few other things) all from Aldi (which is where I shop so I’m ok with it) or Costco, but for the price of the room it’s amazing that breakfast is provided at all. The owner was super friendly and helpful. Room was old and dated, but clean, warm and beds comfortable. Overall a good stay !

We love staying at the Weathervane. Basic motel with a warm and friendly staff. It is close and convenient to everything and is affordable, clean, and safe.

Staff was excellent upon arrival. The room was very clean & comfortable. Location is close to everything. It’s a no-frills hotel, but a great place for a weekend stay. We will stay here again.

We were very happy with our stay. Basic accommodations, our room had a crisp and clean feeling. The room was spacious and met our needs perfectly. No high frills or bells & whistles, but that is reflected in their reasonable rates. The hotel is on a busy road, yet set far back enough to only hear a vehicle now and again. The area is safe and very convenient to the wonderful attractions that Lancaster has to offer. If you’re looking for basic, clean and safe accommodations, I would recommend the Weathervane! P.s. The staff is pleasant and ready to make your stay comfortable and stress free. I will return when in Lancaster.

The owners made us feel like we were a part of the family. The manager behind the desk offered us great conversation and customer service. It was not only his interactions with us, but I observed his interactions with other guests of all ages and ethnic backgrounds and his customer relation skills are phenomenal. Would highly recommend staying here if you get to the area. You won't be disappointed.

We were pleased with our stay. The host was amazing! Any issue there were the host did his best to resolve them. He and his fanily want you to feel like family when you leave and you do. Not as much breakfast options as some may want but for a basic quicker breakfast it did us just fine. Hubby would have preferred a softer bed but for one night it was fine. We will definitely return to this location when coming to the area.

Highly recommend. Very clean and quiet. Affordable.
Check-in/out was easy. The only recommendation I'd give is to change the pillows. All of them were extremely hard. Other than that, this will be my number one to go when im in Lancaster.
