The host is friendliness. The homestay is located quite near to the Mingsha Shan and Crescent Lake. I think easily 2kms or more. The room ok as mine was located at the back. Peaceful, but the hot water is crazy. Either very hot or very cold... When you reduce the temperature, it turned cold and take very long time to heat up again. Watchout for the burning smell....

Really nice people, they upgraded my room free of charge. The hotel is a bit further away from town but it makes it more quiet!!

Great location close to the sand dunes and crescent lake. The host is available when you need him, very attentive, always helps. The room was very clean and tidy, as well as the spacious toilet and shower. We had a big window watching the trees and a nice sitting place by the window. We definitely recommend! Very cozy and comfortable. Great place to stay! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very friendly host. Helped us with a tour to the scenic places. Answers requests very quick. You can order food and breakfast. AC with heater option. Hot shower. Near the Desert, you can walk there.

We had a lovely stay here in a peaceful area close to the sand dunes. The room was bright and clean and comfortable and the staff were so kind and helpful. It’s just a short taxi ride to town for dinner and you can even walk to crescent moon lake if you want! Though you shouldn’t in the hot weather.

An amazing stay at Dunhuang Hu Yang Inn. Firstly, the location of this inn was phenomenal: it was both close to the Mingsha Mountain and Dunhuang city, which made getting food and exploring the area very convenient. The service was great: the owner voluntarily brought our luggage to the second floor and provided useful information about tourist destinations. The common room area was also very clean and put together. There were snacks and board games available. The hotel room was homey and comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the bay window, where we had a nice view of the surroundings. Overall, an amazing experience. I would definitely recommend!
