I stayed here for one night as part of the West Highland Way accommodation. We were greeted by the friendliest hosts, with tea and warm scones. Just what you need after a drizzly 12 mile start to the hike. We were then shown to our accommodation which was up next to the Clachan Inn. When we arrived our cases were already upstairs in our room and they were HEAVY, so a lovely touch that they had been dragged up there. The host also lit the wood burner for us in the lounge area, which was a perfect, cozy end to the first day. As we were the only people staying there, it was like home from home. The hospitality was incredible. I will definitely return one day soon. Highly recommend

First stopover on my West Highland Way walk at Hillview Guest House, owned and run by Frances who has Kip in the Kirk. Invited for fresh scones and a cuppa on the afternoon of my arrival - what a lovely gesture by Frances. Lovely room with en-suite facilities right in the village so very handy for restaurants, bars, topping up supplies . Great breakfast at Kip in the Kirk before I started next morning

First night on West Highland Way a welcome place to stay. A warm welcome with fresh scones. Nice rooms and great advice for how to deal with the next seven days. The place had a nice family feel over breakfast. The host made us welcome and not strangers.

Absolutely superb place Quaint and beautifully decorated Converted chapel very well done and thought out Lovely kitchen area and great continental breakfast home made marmalade mmmmmm Everything was spotless bed so comfy Good location in village 2 min walk to lovely pubs the Clachen does gorgeous food and lovely historical connections to rob roy Best thing was Francis the host do welcoming and friendly Thank you 🙏

Full marks to Frances and her Kip in the Kirk B&B in Drymen. I cannot praise Frances highly enough - she goes above and beyond to make her guests feel at home. From washing and drying our sodden muddy clothes to hot tea and scones on arrival, we were treated like close friends. The property is lovely, well located for the eateries in the village, and our twin room with ensuite was perfect. Don't miss out on this one- especially if you arrive on one of the wettest days of the year! Thanks Frances X

Genuinely might be the best host ever ever! Frances went above and beyond! Welcomed with home made scones on arrival, helped us immensely with everything we needed after a full day in the rain. Hiking the West Highland Way and The Kip in The Kirk was a stones throw from the trail Absolutely amazing place to stay and such a friendly and warm welcome by Frances Very clean accommodation with excellent facilities Frances goes the extra mile with her helpfulness, recommending eateries, transport and places to visit Her scones are divine!! Simple, delicious breakfast and tea / coffee all included Frances has bunk rooms with shared facilities aswell as private bedrooms with en suite facilities A gem of an establishment Thank you Frances for a wonderful stay ❤️ Sharon Henley on Thames

My sister stayed here but I was unable to as I got stuck elsewhere, Frances was really nice and supportive throughout my updates! A family trip turned solo! The rooms were lovely and beds were comfy. As a solo female traveller, felt very safe. The bikes for deco was cool!

Frances was an absolutely wonderful host. Our room and bathroom were both spotless, and she welcomed us with a lovely afternoon tea and even had gluten free cake for my husband. Her breakfast the next morning prior to setting off on day 2 of hiking the WHW was perfect. Lovely spot!
