We were issued keys that failed to open the door forcing us to make our way back to the front office. Our room, by the way was last on a long corridor on the upper floor of an extended wing if you can picture that. We booked (and paid for) a room for three but upon entering, the extra bed was not made up. Tried to call every number on the house phone but none was answered which meant another long walk to the front office, again. When we found the drain in the shower clogged I was hesitant to complaint to avoid further disappointment but I did anyhow and true enough - nothing was done. I must admit the hotel had one of the widest selection of tea and coffee (and chocolate drink mix) I've seen in a hotel room. I appreciated the coffee but unfortunately, restocking was only done once throughout our 4 night stay. I wonder if this was to be expected. Double Tree is a respectable brand (at least in my part of the world) but I don't understand what could have gone so wrong with this one.

We stayed in one of your beautiful rooms - Whitley Neil - last night for a dinner, bed and breakfast getaway and what a brilliant time we had! The food was incredible (stunning flavour and presentation!) the room was warm and so well equipped (you've literally thought of everything from corkscrew to hairdryer!) but most of all we loved the incredible welcome. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived and only wish we could have stayed longer, we both said we're booking two nights next time! Alex there aren't many pub owners like yourself these days, who work so hard alongside the team of staff whilst still lighting up the room with banter and a smile. Hugh is also a huge credit to your pub and hotel. He greeted us with a lovely and friendly manner on arrival and later asked us after dinner, ”Have you been well looked after?” That question summed up our stay. No corny scripted service, just a beautifully genuine experience of great food, great service and a great sleep - what more can you want? Thanks guys, we'll be back!

It belongs to the old village hotel, but the room and traffic are convenient, the price is affordable, and the surrounding environment is good.

The casa is a very nice hotel to stay in. Check in quick and efficient and courteous staff as always. Plenty of parking spaces on site. Room has air conditioning and a good bath room with power shower. Tea and coffee available with a mini fridge for milk and water included. We had booked breakfast but completely forgot breakfast finished at 9am on a monday. I'm hoping that maybe next time we may be able to use this feature. Though to be fair we should have ordered to the room the night before for a small £5. A enjoyable stay nothing more to add.

Very pleased with our stay in this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet so we had an excellent nights sleep. Check in and check out was quick and easy and the staff were attentive and helpful. The location suited us fine being on the outskirts of the city with easy access to parks and gardens in the area. I would happily stay here again.
