Such a gem of a place. Beautiful comfortable stylish room with everything you would want. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice and our evening meal was very good. Very impressed with the staff who were all friendly, welcoming and efficient. Would recommend and return

Stayed here last weekend for my boyfriends birthday! After a long walk in the Peak District we arrived at the Devonshire Arms greeted by very friendly staff. We were showed to the Masons room which was lovely, very spacious, clean and lovely views! We ate in the restaurant that evening, food was great and generous portions! They had a live singer on that evening which we enjoyed after our meal while having a few drinks! Breakfast the next morning was really tasty, you can tell they use very high quality products! Would definitely recommend and will 100% stay again if we are in the area. Thank you for a lovely stay :)

This place is amazing! Got a last minute booking after being let down elsewhere and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Stayed in one of their gin-themed Executive rooms, which was fabulous. They even managed to squeeze us into the restaurant for dinner, despite being fully booked. The food was delicious, as was breakfast. Will definitely be returning!

What a beautiful hotel/pub, staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The room was top notch and the food was excellent. Value for money was off the scale and I will certainly be coming back again the place is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in for the price, exceptional 🩷

Beautiful room with a lovely comfy bed. Lots of mod cons like coffee machine, Alexa, mood lighting and a great view out. Staff were very friendly and exceptionally professional. Service is the restaurant was very warm but efficient. You knew the staff had all been trained well, understood how to work well together and were clued up on the amazing menu. Food was really excellent, both at dinner and breakfast - ticked all the boxes for a perfect pub with rooms.

Fabulous food, staff and beautiful room. Stylish and comfortable. We had a great breakfast and food was served late in the evening which was so welcome after a long drive. Absolutely loved it. Staff here are all very attentive, friendly and professional Would recommend and return

This is the second time i have organised a family celebration at The Devonshire Arms and both times we have used the private dining room adjacent to the bar. On both occasions the food has been great and friendliness of the staff lovely. Nothing was to much trouble for them and they made both occasions run smoothly and without a hitch. I cannot recommend the Devonshire Arms highly enough and will certainly be returning in the future.

My wife and I have just returned from a two-night stay at the Devonshire Arms booked via Secret Escapes. What a fantastic find. The staff - wow. How friendly, courteous, professional, helpful - the list could just go on and on. We arrived early and as our room wasn't ready (we were 3-4 hours early) the staff recommended several places nearby that we could visit. Wonderful recommendations that we took them up on after we'd enjoyed a light lunch of home-made soup and a crusty roll. Our room was beautifully decorated with a modern en-suite with walk-in shower. There is bottled water in the room and tea/coffee making facilities. We ate in the Arms's restaurant both nights enjoying fabulous food. The kitchen is open (always a good sign) so you can see the chef's hard at work. On the first night we both enjoyed a prawn cocktail followed by a roast beef delicious (well you would on a Sunday) and the following g night my wife had a burger whilst I enjoyed a fillet steak perfectly cooked. This is one place that we'll definitely returning to.
