Outstanding service , great bar food , luxurious room and public areas , and great breakfast. Minutes walk from the town centre and the golf club.Easy parking - extensively refurbished on 2023 , this hotel is superb.

Enormous building in a beautiful coastal location, with impressive lobby, dining room, bar, and snooker room. Friendly and attentive staff.
My stay was let down by a loud banging noise that persisted through the night (sounded like an unsecured door clattering in the wind) and a strong smell of damp on my floor (third). Also, the breakfast service was understaffed and slow, although the staff were doing an excellent job in the circumstances, and the food was superb. Sadly, there was leakage of rainwater into the breakfast room.
My impression is of a building that needs substantial repairs and ongoing maintenance to realise its huge potential.

Enjoyed our visit. The reception is inviting and the room was beautifully appointed with the most comfiest of beds. Bar area is cosy with a snooker table to help pass the time on the rainy days. We ate in the restaurant one of the nights which was tasty and every breakfast was well presented and delicious. All the staff were friendly and welcoming.
