The hotel is so new, relaxing and well established in the lake area. I really appreciate the assistance of Corina during my stay. She was helpful and very attentive to our needs. Our family had a good time thanks to her. We will surely visit the hotel again in the future.

My stay at Banyan Tree Dongguan Songshan Lake was exceptional. The architecture and design are stunning—modern yet rooted in the Banyan Tree traditional style—with high-quality finishes that make every space feel thoughtful and refined. What truly made the experience special was the warm hospitality. Frank went out of his way to make me feel welcome and at home, creating a real sense of comfort during my very busy trip. At night, the sound of frogs added something magical—fun and calming, making the place feel completely unique. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Staff needs more training. Not attentive and observant. Far cry from other Banyan Tree resorts elsewhere.

The ambience of the hotel is great. The room is spacious and well decorated. Everywhere is pretty can easily take a instagrammable photo. Hotel easy access to the Zongshan Lake. Our room manager Ms. Lynn Zhu is very helpful.

New hotel in 2024 . Room was spacious and nice view . Quiet location can walked to the lake easily. Big bath tub in balcony . Really enjoyed. The Chinese restaurant food was so good , must try . The staff service was excellent specially Ms Lyne Zhu , very helpful and friendly. Thank you .

The experience we had at Banyan tree hotel was exceptional, the room was so nice. Besides, we were well greeted and the reception with an upgrade and staff Nana looked after guys really well during our 3 days and 2 nights trip...She was really well aware of what we needed and very helpful as well. We will definitely come again

Difficult to get to and service is not as great as I would have expected from a Banyan Tree hotel chain. However, loved the room and the environment especially with the lake and the mountain nearby.

This is the first time I stay at your hotel. All of their staff were of very good attitude. However, I was somewhat disappointed with the room standard! The safe inside the room was not working and after reporting, 2 rounds of staff needed to be sent to sort that out! It appeared that the safe of the room was not managed at all during room service; which is a surprise for a such a high standard hotel! Another disappointment is the refrigerator; which was locked for unknown reasons! Despite being told that soft drinks inside it were free of charge; the refrigerator was locked with all the alcoholic drinks inside! Eventually, the room mate came to unlock it and said it was a misunderstanding of their staff! Nevertheless, the environment and facilities are of a very high standard; in particular the gym & indoor pool. Also, the breakfast was exceptionally good.

We had a very relaxing stay at Banyan Tree Songshan Lake. The hotel decor was warm and welcoming, rooms were spacious and each had an outdoor tub for relaxation. We were warmly welcomed by Jenny, the front desk staff, she was exceptional in taking care of my family’s needs. All enquiries were answered promptly and she gave us great recommendations for food, where to visit around the area. Thank you Jenny, we hope to see you again soon!

Came here during off season with my boyfriend. Super friendly staff. We got an upgrade to a room with lake view. The bed here is super super comfy. Highly recommend the outdoor infinity pool. Would visit again!

Wonderful experience for vacation in such a lovely and friendly hotel. Beautiful lake view and lots of activities available for customers to enjoy and relax. Hotel staffs are friendly and proactive to put customer first in mindset and skillset. The design of the hotel is extraordinary and awesome

The hotel is located right next to Songshan Lake, we rented the hotel bike for a nice ride around the lake for 2 hours. We arrived at the hotel early and was immediately offered an early check-in as well as late check-out time. We stayed in the Courtyard Lake View Villa, its spacious with elegant high-end design and hotel amenities. Very sizable indoor pool with well equipped sauna and steam room. Lastly, we would like to thank staff Nana for her tentative service during our stay !!!!
