Although it’s not a hotel overlooking the lake, it is nevertheless only 10 min walk to the pier. It’s a great hotel, very clean and the staff are friendly. There’s a continental breakfast in the morning which was decent. Overall, a nice hotel and one I would have no problems recommending to family and friends.

Excellent friendly family run hotel, in a great location only five minutes walk, from the main city of Desenzano del Garda close to the bus and train station. Plenty of choice at breakfast time room was large and clean. Would highly recommend. Ferry was great from center of Desenzano where you can visit Garda, Bardalino, Sirimione and Liaise you can catch and train to Venice and Verona by train or bus.

We stayed here for 4 nights and found the staff to be charming and excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and someone was always on hand to assist with any questions or directions. We requested tea and coffee for the room which duly arrived and the mini bar was re-stocked daily. The room was spotless throughout our stay which was also the case across the whole hotel. The en-suite was spacious, clean with a decent shower and complimentary toiletries. The hair dryer was a little temperamental and could do with being updated but this was a small grumble in an otherwise lovely stay. Although listed as a 3 star it is much more like a 4 star hotel and well worthy of it as weve stayed in worse 5 stars. Theres plenty of free parking on site and save yourselves some money by booking directly with the hotel via their website who had some great offers and corresponded in English swiftly by email when making our booking. If we visit Garda again we will be sure to stay here.

I can not praise the staff at this hotel enough. They made my birthday & holiday truly special, from ordering flowers to keeping the secret of a surprise guest. The hotel is well maintained, our room was spacious, bright & comfortable. Breakfast was amazing with everything you could wish for. Well located within easy walking distance of the ferry port & many varied restaurants. Highly recommended & would love to return.

My husband booked here for my birthday and it was perfect. Close to train station so didnt have to carry cases too far. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, i got prosecco in the room for my birthday which was a lovely touch. Hotel is very clean, rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels. The hairdryer kept cutting out which was annoying but wasnt a big issue. There are no tea/coffee facilities kettle in the room you have to ask which is bit odd but we didnt bother as we were out all day and just had coffee at breakfast. Overall fab place close to ferries and trains and places to eat. We will be back

Even though this is a 3 star hotel, it was more like a 4 star. Our Junior Suite was roomy, clean and modern. The entire hotel was beautiful, including the swimming pool, very welcome after a day sightseeing. All the staff were lovely, friendly and accommodating; they looked after us very well. It was also in a great position. Yes, it’s on a main road, but we never heard the traffic and it was a short walk down to the lake. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is brilliantly situated just 5 minutes walk down to the lake front and an easy stroll into the centre of Desenzano. It stood out for the friendliness of its staff, its cleanliness, the comfortable beds and large bathroom with powerful, hot shower, lots of fluffy towels. A good breakfast. The lounge area is also very comfortable and luminous. Unfortunately I was only there for one night on a business trip, however I would be more than happy to return with friends for longer.

The room and balcony was spacious and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was spot on with my husband opting for a cooked breakfast and I opted for fruit and danishes, the coffee was good too. The only slight let down was the quality of the fruit juice but perhaps that is because I buy Tropicana at home. The staff were attentive, helpful and friendly. We had opted to do a day trip to Venice on a day when it was pouring down and we thought ‘oh no we’ll get soaked’ but when we went downstairs the hotel had umbrellas waiting for residents in the hall … they were a lifesaver … such a thoughtful touch. The hotel bar was pleasant too for a few drinks after dinner and before bed. We picked this particular spot because Desenzano has good travel options so we were able to take the ferry to Sirmione and the train to Venice and Venice and the hotel is about 5-10 minutes walk from the port and train station so perfect.
