Spacious room, clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were more than adequate with a choice of varieties. Hotel location was ok just outside the wall though neighbouring shops were all shuttered. Taxis plentiful and inexpensive. Nightly dinner was at the hotel restaurant - good food, surprisingly very affordable prices and extremely good services from the staff. What stood out most were the very helpful, cheerful staff, at the front desk, restaurants, and cleaners!

The room was spacious and bright, with complete facilities, and it was OK to live in. But the hot water in the bathtub was yellow, so I didn't dare to use it. The orange fruit sent in the room seemed to have a bit of a bad taste, so I didn't dare to eat it after tasting it.

I chose this hotel because it is just a twenty minute walk north of Datong South Station. It is right next to Fantawild amusement park, so is a good choice for families (Most of the guests were families with young kids). Everything inside the hotel is brand new. One of the hosts at reception was exceptional, and she not only offered wonderful device and care to me but also to every guest I saw her interacting with (I didn't learn her name, alas). One interesting note: I stayed there on a Friday and Saturday night, and there was a firework show on both evenings in Fanatwild next door. The booming sound startled me at first, but I quickly realized what it was.

The room was nice, but a little old. The shower didn't have water pressure. Location convenient from the train station and for Yungang Grottoes by bus. The staff was also friendly and one person could speak English.

The front desk has the worst service in the hotel industry among the 23 provinces I have visited in the country! ! Ctrip has never met such a weird front desk supervisor in 19 years. ① When checking in, there were no other guests at the front desk. After handing the ID card to the female supervisor at the front desk, she asked the name of the person who made the reservation with the ID card in her hand. I was confused for a while and said it was on the ID card. She asked the name of the person who made the reservation for the second time. Is the hotel front desk supervisor illiterate? Booked 2 rooms, and asked me if I should open one first? Three people have ID cards in hand to open one? I want to ask the hotel management about this sentence, how did they train these questions? ② Handed me the room card and said it was OK. I asked if I could use the room card for breakfast? She said the breakfast voucher was in the room card. (The breakfast coupon is on the back of the room number paper) They didn't tell me what time the meal started, which floor the breakfast was on, how to get to the guest room from the left and right elevators, where the bathroom was, and whether to use the room card to go to the bathroom. Everything depended on the guests themselves. ③ Aren't these questions asked by the guests the most basic things that the front desk should tell the guests? Are they beyond the scope of the front office's work? Also pay attention to the small actions of receiving guests. ④ When dining in the restaurant, the front office supervisor brought a fruit plate and asked me to explain. He said explanation, not apology. He said it was busy during the Spring Festival, and there was no disrespect. I didn't let him continue, and directly said that there were no other guests when I checked in, so there was no reason to be busy. When asking me the reservation information for the second time, he stared at the guest and asked while flicking his right hair. These small actions that disrespected people, to be honest, I was so angry at the time, but I thought that it was also the seventh day of the first ***** month when I took my parents out for a trip, so I endured it. The fruit plate was not eaten. Eating people's hands is short, which affects the truthful evaluation. Summary: In the era of short videos and evaluation drainage, the market economy is down, and the competition pressure of competing products is high. Hotels should pay more attention to the quality education of employees. Although we are in the service industry, we respect each other. If you want to run a good business, you still have to pay attention to word of mouth!

The outdoor environment is well maintained and the room facilities are rustic and simple. Yu Sheng said that the room we booked previously leaked during the rainy season, so we changed it to Caixun. The air conditioner is broken in such weather, which is a bit speechless. Fortunately, we arrived in the evening and only had to sleep for one night, so it was still cool at night. I just regret that if I hadn't trusted the decoration accessories and technology chosen by the store, I would not have easily chosen a room with an open bathroom. The dampness after showering and the smell after using the toilet permeated the entire bedroom, and I was woken up by the smell of sewer in the morning. The pet-friendly factor is why I chose this place.

The hotel is located in the middle of the Great Wall Highway 1. The view is wide, the scenery is beautiful, the pastoral atmosphere is strong, the staff is very warm, the roof pool is very eye-catching, very suitable for taking pictures. The food is delicious, and the ground dish fried noodles are very like it.

Didn't expect this very niche and grande hotel in a city that many non-Chinese traveller might have not ever heard before. The room is huge, clean, modern yet classy. The breakfast area is the champion, with pools surrounding the dining area, very good spot for taking social media contents. Location is very easy to find, right in the main road that connects to the old town of Datong. Parking spot is widely available in the basement.

Bathing and swimming tickets: This is a gift from the room. There are 4 shower heads. I wanted to scrub my body, but there was someone in front of me. I don’t know if the auntie didn’t want to scrub me anymore. I said I needed to wait in line, but she hesitated and didn’t agree. I was very dissatisfied with this. I don’t know if she was tired because there was only 1 scrubbing bed. Facilities and sanitation: It was just renovated and opened not long ago. The facilities and sanitation are still good. There are a lot of mirrors. This designer likes mirrors too much. But the room has the smell of decoration. There were too many people during the Qingming Festival. The breakfast was very chaotic. If it were daily, I think it would be good.
