The food was very good . Had the three course Sunday roast . Beef . Excellent cooked with the perfect amount of red . Enough food , a Percy amount . The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. I have been many times and it feels a lot cleaner than when we were their last

Monday night stops to break our long journey to Cornwall are rarely memorable but we were charmed by the Two Bridges. It was like travelling back in time - a proper old fashioned hotel with plenty of staff, extensive public areas and roaring fires. The decor and furnishings reflect its traditional style and are infinitely preferable to the impersonal, cookie cutter rural-chic style of so many other hotels. Our room was warm, comfortable and spotless. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. Our dinner in the restaurant was excellent. A great place to stay in a beautiful location.

Fantastic Hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Quality of the food was excellent in a lovely oak panelled restaurant. (They use an excellent local butcher). Sadly my wife was not with me but if you want a weekend away I thoroughly recommend considering here

I had a delightful meal here after a walk with a couple of friends. As we walked into the building, which had beautiful character, we were greeted by exceptionally friendly staff. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Callum and Ava for their exceptional customer service and local knowledge during lunch. It truly was the best service I've experienced, and the meal was thoroughly enjoyable.

Stayed for two nights with a wedding group. We had a lovely time, room was cozy, staff were friendly, and food was good. Jess did a great job organising the wedding with everything going well on the day, and Tom the general manager was fantastic. Lots of ornaments, clocks and art give the building some character, and the location is stunning. I hope to come back soon.

We would like to thank the staff at the Two Bridges Hotel at Dartmoor for all their help and kindness when on Monday 6th January , we were caught out by the heavy snow and were unable to make the journey back to our cottage. They could not have done any more for us , they opened their doors for us and provided us with hot drinks and rooms free of charge for the night. Highly recommend the Hotel and the Staff. The staff and hotel were amazing and, despite being officially closed, accommodated two teenagers stuck overnight in the snow when their car couldn't handle the conditions to get out of the valley. Can't thank them enough for helping out those stranded and not even charging them to stay!

This stay was arranged as treat for me by my girlfriend. She chose the nicest suite of rooms which had plenty of place and full of old (in a nice traditional way) furniture and fittings. The room was warm and comfortable. The bed was superb! The bathroom, yes, it had a large bath (and shower) was luxurious, the water pressure very good and the water hot. When we arrived we enjoyed a drink and crisps in the lounge until our room was ready. After a walk up towards Wistman’s Wood, we had a lovely evening meal. The battered haddock was delicious and the service excellent. In the morning the breakfast in the restaurant was also excellent and the portions generous. Overall, the whole ambience and feel of our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. A lovely stress-free moment in our busy lives. Thank you to all the team!
