We spent Christmas 2021 on a two week break at Casa Inmaculada. We booked through a different agent, and to be honest we thought we had booked the larger bungalow at the property, however we discovered on arrival that we had actually booked one of the 4 x small wooden cabins situated in the gardens. I think it perhaps could be made clearer in the booking process. I wonder if it is the confusion over the word 'bungalow', I go the impression that the wooden cabins are referred to as bungalows, whereas I would definitely call them wooden cabins. Once I got over my disappointment, we decided to make the most of what was on offer. We chose this property for its rural location, far from 'the madding crowd' so to speak. And it did not disappoint on that score, it was peace personified, the cabin itself was adequately equipped, albeit with mismatching crockery & glasses. But whatever we needed, we just asked Sarah and no sooner did I ask she was there with the required item, eg a sharp knife, extra tea towels etc. There was two electric rings to cook on, which I managed perfectly well with, along with the aid of a toaster and coffee machine. There was a BBQ in the garden which we used, and thankfully previous guests had left charcoal & lighters [they are not supplied by the owners], as we ended up cooking our Xmas lunch on it after our restaurant reservation was cancelled, it mattered not, it was a perfectly marvelous lunch cooked on the BBQ. It was recommended that we hire a car, we did but only for 3 days to explore further afield, we managed by walking everywhere. Be warned it is a trek down to the nearest restaurant in El Salobre, and then the nearest shop further downhill in La Tablero. We tended to walk down and taxied back up, after a day exploring either on foot or by public transport. We planned to hire bikes, but never got round to it. There is a glorious pool literally steps from each of the cabins, it says it is heated, I am not too sure about that - but the cool water was a blessing in the heat. My feedback is thus: GREAT Tons of steaming hot water readily available Pool Super, friendly and attentive Manager, Sarah Pretty garden Clean towels regularly supplied Peaceful, rural location Ideal for a group of 4 x couples NOT SO GREAT The double bed needed bigger bedding the sheet kept coming undone overnight The sofa in living area was a sofa bed, and not comfy to sit on No comfy seat pads for the white plastic loungers Mismatched kitchen equipment On the whole it was super, and we are very much folk who can adapt to any situation, if you are of a similar nature, and long for peace, a rural idyll, away from the 'touristy' places it is perfect. There was a couple staying in one of the other bungalows who return every year, and I think we would return in the future, it just ticks lots of our boxes, it isn't for everyone and those who like 'things' going on it probably isn't for you, but if you want to escape from this - it
