We had a wonderful stay in Hotel Koener. Nice dinner, perfect breakfast, nice and clean room, SPA with Sauna and Pool. We booked a "Luxembourg-Package". Included was half-board (very tasty), a bottle of Crement and a bottle of applejuice from the region. Everything was fine. We´ll come a second time.

The room was okay, bathroom could use improvements. Bathtub very small and had a crack and was not very hygienic. Breakfast was good. Wellness, no control of swimming clothes. Restaurants too expensive, and they have 3 of the 4 Restaurants in town. Found one the next day bit further down the street. Overall we had a good night sleep.

Our stay included NYE, not with the intention of celebrating, just coincidence, we came to relax and hike the surroundings. The date made our fee high and quality low: without warning (even though we did get multiple messages beforehand asking to join the planned dinner) kept from sleep until 3AM by loud party noise which earplugs could not cancel out & multiple disturbingly incompetently handled overnight fire alarms, caused by hotel's own decoration arrangements. Room and swimming pool outdated, but that was more tolerable, especially if it would not have been for the heightened price rate. Bed was okay, but the sheet was too small to cover the mattress (a bit gross for a hotel bed), phones not working. Received no spontaneous information at all (we do speak/understand French) at check-in, only received a key and were asked our credit card for deposit. Appreciated the chocolates on NYE, and the kind and eager breakfast crew.

- Hotel (old but nice) Bathroom shower glas broken - Spa (small but very good and nice). Luckily there were not a lot of people using it. - Restaurant (NoGo) 4 out of 5 restaurants were closed, including the one we booked a week before. Only the "brasserie" was open. Service -＞ non existent

Very impressed with everything about the hotel. The bed was very comfortable and spacious. The only small criticism I have is the bath was difficult to access as I have limited mobility. A non slip mat in the bottom of the bath would have been helpful. Overall I rate the hotel excellent, friendly helpful staff at both check in and check out. We will certainly stay again.

We have received the stay as a gift from good friends. In Luxembourg we know the name of the hotel and we were happy to be able to spend our vacations in Luxembourg as Luxembourgers. The arrival was problem-free, the access to the parking problematic - this was due to the fact that all in all the hotel has no good signage where to find what. (Parking costs 15euro per night) The first room we received was very old-fashioned, out of time and anything but appealing. I would not spend a night there. I went to the reception with this request, they were very nice and accommodating and understood our request. They gave us another room. This had class, charm and we felt very comfortable. Thank you very much for this! As a huge plus point of the hotel, we must mention the spa area. Here you lack nothing and you can relax completely. The buffet in the morning can also be seen with pleasure, here you have a huge selection and you certainly do not go home hungry. All in all, we can say that we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is certainly getting on in years and you would have to improve here and there something, but everything was possible.

Lunch was taken on our tour of the area at this lavish hotel. There was a good range of meals available and we enjoyed an excellent local delicacy, a sausage meal with excellent salad and frites on the side, with local beers and wines. The service was intermittent, but the food and wine were excellent.

Loved Hotel Koener. Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable room, great breakfast and the free spa was a real bonus - especially after our long drive to get there. Convenient location for parking and for walking to the castle and monastery. A great last night of our holiday. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
