Akti Beach Hotel & Village Resort

A lovely hotel, really clean throughout tge whole hotel, great friendly staff, huge studio rooms. There was always plenty of sunbeds with parasols, no sunbed wars in the morning, which Is a huge plus. The food was really good, a different theme every night, lovely selection of food to choose from. An amazing holiday, we will definitely be back, hopefully later in the year.

I can't be more happier about this hotel. First, when we came we have had some small issues about the room, I spoke to the staff and my issue has been escalated and fixed in a few hours. Wow! Such a good expierence! If you want to feel pleased and welcome as a family member you have to chose this place. Food is really good, drinks are nice and rooms are cozy. Environment full of flowers, roses. You can see a in a few meters. Amazing stuff, place, food and environment. Will come back again!

Visited with my 10 year old son, cannot fault anything, great food and drinks, really nice room, every where was spotlessly clean. Good entertainment and an overall laid back a**osphere. Would recommend to anyone and hopefully be lucky enough to return.

Just home from a lovely relaxing week away here with my hubby, room was big and clean.however, I could do with updating food & drink were ideal for us. Entertainment staff very enthusiastic and all staff friendly. We couldn't fault anything.

This is a lovely little hotel. Very out of the way but they do offer a shuttle bus to the market and the Harbour for 5 euro return. There are 2 outside pools both of which are a good size. Lots of sunbeds and no mad rush for putting towels on beds as plenty for everyone. Although there is no sandy beach, there is a lovely little cove to swim in but very pebbly. The entertainment staff like to keep you busy offering lots of activities throughout the day. We were all inclusive which offered a wide range of drinks. All local brands so if you want a specific brand you need to pay for it. Waiter service too which was excellent, could not fault the staff they were excellent. The food was standard all inclusive buffet, I'm quite fussy so not all the meals were to my taste but nonetheless very well prepared. Lots of evening entertainment for both kids and adults and the entertainment staff were first class especially the young lad from Holland (sorry can't remember his name). We had a late flight home and although we had to check out at midday we were allowed to use the Spa to shower and change. The cleaners came in everyday to service our room which was very basic but clean and i had no issues with it. Overall I had a great experience and I would return.

We have just returned from an All Inclusive holiday here and have had an amazing time. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a lovely receptionist called Jenny who told us that dinner was almost over so gave us wristbands and showed us to the restaurant, promising to check us in after! She then took us to our apar**ent, even helping with our luggage. We did have a small issue with our accommodation but it was quickly dealt with. The apar**ent was large, comfortable, well equipped and so close to the pool that we could almost have dived in from either of our two balconies! The food was good; plenty of choice and, although they had a theme for dinner each evening, there were enough options for even my fussy wife to enjoy. Breakfast was always plentiful and delicious (although I couldn’t drink the tea as I didn’t like the milk) and the lunch and snacks were served outside and again, there was enough choice to ensure we were never hungry. The hotel is clean everywhere and there is always something going on during the day. Yoga, French Boules, Darts etc to name a few and the evening entertainment is really good, with entertainment manager Quentin (Mr Q) doing his best to keep everyone happy, constantly wandering around and chatting to guests between activities and shows (fairly sure he didn’t have a day off all week). Overall I would highly recommend this hotel anyone.

Lovely hotel and reception staff. Pools are decent sizes but are cold when you get in regardless of the outside temperature. The “quite pool” as some call it has a bar where the bar person is there when no one wants a drink and disappears when people are there waiting. All inclusive drinks are rushed (cocktails aren’t always mixed) and there is only 1 brand of beer in the all inclusive (like everywhere else I guess). Food is poor in my eyes as well as the group I’m with. The snacks on the all inclusive are so poor as well. The rooms are standard (we have 2 small balconies with bushes over hanging them. Shop on site is well over priced as you are secluded from everywhere and need to get taxi’s everywhere or walk up a steep hill to a bus stop where you wait for a bus that’s so packed you can’t see the driver. If you like being out of the way then this place is perfect. It says beach in the title but there’s no actual beach at the resort, you have to walk some distance to get to it but you do get a great view of the sea

Great holiday 10 - 17 April. Excellent value. Cheerful, friendly, attentive staff. Choice of food and drinks very good. External steps up to studio room, luggage carried for us on arrival and departure. Very helpful Jet2 staff available in reception everyday. Regular bus service from the main road (about 15mins walk away) to Paphos, Tombs of the Kings and Coral Bay. We also went by bus to Limassol. The view from our room was over the car park, which for me was not really a problem as very little time spent in the room. The room was functional and well serviced.

Stay 24th April - 8th May - 2nd visit after having stayed in October. Due to the stay we had in October we couldn't wait to return - see previous review. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with friendly faces and shown to our room. We had a 1 bed apar**ent this time (206). Our room was spacious and clean. Nothing had changed in terms of friendly staff, lay out etc. On this occasion as noted in a couple of other reviews the food let us down a little bit this time as sadly we both ended up unwell. This meant we'd lost 2 days of our holiday. I can't recommend the hotel grounds, staff and drink highly enough. The entertainment was of the same great standard as before. The food is plentiful although due to being unwell we were cautious as to what we ate going forward. Breakfast was still the best in terms of choice. Whilst we are saddened by being unwell, and it has made us consider if we'd try somewhere else next time we still had a lovely holiday, and really felt at home from the moment we arrived. We were pretty lucky with the weather too, although we did have a thunderstorm! It was also nice to see the staff enforce some of the rules being broken by inconsiderate guests (not covering up at lunch) Hotel are limited in what they can do, however when big groups arrive and take over the pool area (group arrived for a wedding) theses guests need to be more considerate of other guests. They dominated an area of the pool, moving loungers, not clearing up after themselves, being loud and also one occasion a member of the party tried to drown the entertainment guy during water polo. Just follow the rules and be a little bit more considerate. Leaving glasses and rubbish around isn't fair on the staff, they all work so hard and shouldn't have to clean up loads of mess. It's not difficult to take your empty glass(s) to the bar with you like we and many others did. Thanks again for a lovely stay and hopefully, we will see you in the near future.
