Yingshan Hotel

It is definitely pricey at NTD5000 a night. However the location is unbeatable, service is commendable and room is clean. It has all the basic amenities like slippers, toothbrush .. etc but no fridge or kettle. So very basic and clean. For this room rate, reckon we can get a pretty decent hotel in the city but this is high up in Alishan and the hotel is a very short walk to the Alishan train station and visitor's centre. All in all, a pleasant stay. Oh, no breakfast cos it is the cherry blossom season.

Great location, the closest hotel to bus station. The staffs are friendly and helpful.

Overall all good especially the location however the breakfast a bit too simple & very rush to eat.

Very well located within the park. Less than 5 minutes walk to rhe tourist information centre and all the eateries as well as transportation to the rest of the park. Breakast vouchers given to be exchanged at one the restaurants nearby. Highly recommended for the price point.

We like the location and convenience with easy access to shops. Amenities a little dated. As we arrive during raining season, we have glad the hotel pick us up to and fro from Alishan terminal. The simple buffet breakfast provided was also a plus point.

I believe this hotel is for those who just wanna stay a day or two, then next morning go for the Alishan sunrise. It is not the best hotel experience we have, but better than nothing. The front desk is not 24 hours though, they told us that they are close from 9pm. But next day at around 7am (after we back from seeing the sunrise), there are people at the front desk already. I am not sure why, I feel like the front desk receptionist isn't as welcoming as I read from the comments here. But ok la, they are not rude. Halfway through the stay at night, I realize our room is way too cold to bear, and I felt something is not right. Should have heater somewhere. But by then it was too late to reach out to the front desk as they are already closed from 9pm. If you find the room too cold, reach out to them asap. I read a comment from someone that they helped to settle the heater issue. They do not help to book train ticket to see the sunrise, you need to purchase it at the train station (Alishan station). The toilet is too small, and cannot throw tissue paper in the toilet bowl (Fyi), basin is small too, you will hit your head if you bend down to wash your face etc.

Great location near to shuttle bus ard Alishan and 7/11. Very clean hotel and room has a nice smell cedar wood scent. The hotel was kind to upgrade us to a quadruple room as we booked for 2a1c.

Old building. The room is quite small for the family. I heard the baby crying from the next room all night. Only have paper and plastic for cup.

It was a little cold at night, but service was warm. The facilities are not luxurious but comfortable enough for our one night stay. Thank you!
