Ulasan Duangtawan Hotel Chiang Mai

The hotel seem to be affected by the recent Myanmar earthquake. My room ceilings can seen crack but the hotel assures the building structure is safe.  Nonetheless, the location is good

Very bad crisis management & service. No in house plan for emergency & crisis management. Call front desk no pick up. Finally reception pick up call and promised to housekeeping to clean the debris at 1500 hour. Not happen at 1600 hour so when down to lobby front desk to check. Manager received the complaint and responded to immediately send housekeeping to clean & clear the debris. Nothing happened after an hour decided to go out. When back 2200 hour, room still not clean. Went down to lobby complaint and finally someone came to clear & clean. Basically on 28th March the room bathroom & toilet cannot be used from 1500-2300 hour. The management did not officially apologize & treated as if nothing has happened. Felt totally unhappy & dissatisfied with the hotel.

Fantastic Hotel right outside Night Bazar. Breakfast buffe is wery nice. Room is nice. Everything perfect.

Old hotel but effort done to upgrade the facilities . Breakfast range is good. Overall satisfied with my stay at the hotel. Great front desk and housekeeping customer service .

It was good except the hotel made two twin beds into a queen bed and the lamp shade was dangerous as if you slept there you would injure your head. We had requested on large bed, so we had to ask them to separate the beds this is not what we wanted as we are a married couple. Others then that the food was good and the room was clean and they had good facilities and the hotel in in the center near all amenities

I had the worst experience about my stay at the hotel.. it first started with delay in giving me the room by 30mins.. then the washroom was leaking the entire time , I was waiting in the queue, receptionist saw me, didn’t say I was stading in wrong one and directly started attending the one who came after me.. and when I said Maam I was here first, she made face and showed some disrespect… after all this they finally sent the engineer to check the leakage and he said nothing was wrong.. however that evening again after I came from my trip washroom was filled with the water that had leaked from commod.. here r some pictures and even after I complained , after I couldn’t use my own personal bathroom freely , due to that I couldn’t use other amenities like swimming pool sauna etc for which I had planned as this trip was supposed to be more relaxing inside hotel For me it was a complete waste of money..

Room is well maintained despite being an older hotel. Room is large and cleaning is done daily. Breakfast is excellent. They have halal option as well. Chinese, western cuisine for breakfast. Enjoyed it and didn’t feel bored despite having breakfast for 3 days. Hotel is located near 3 night bazaars, definitely a good location to stay. 7 eleven is opposite the hotel.

I really enjoyed to stay 2 nights in this hotel. Location is really good. I recommended this hotel as muslim traveller because providing Muslim friendly Menu. Good Luck!

Good location, close to the city centre but not too much that it's noisy. Excellent service, and easy access to 711 and an ATM outside.

We loved staying here . The junior suite was amazing and spacious breakfast

Location is very good, walking distance to night markets, eatery , cafe etc.

Excellent hotel with all the amenities you might need including safe, robe ,slippers, great view of the city. Breakfast is served until late. The location is pretty far from the east gate of the city (15min walk) other than that it was a pretty good stay

If you don’t want to pay the $200+ for the marriot next door then book this hotel. It’s a wonderful 4 star hotel and the marriot is about a 15 second walk. Full size gym, amazing pool. This hotel is almost as good as the marriot but about 80% cheaper.
