Olga's Fancy

This hotel does not have check in service after 6:00pm, which I have never encountered before. The front desk person was rude, who did us not allow us to stay in the lobby after checking out.

A cute, funky getaway in Frenchtown in St. Thomas. Right next-door to the high-end Oceana restaurant, but just a few steps away from more accessible and equally delicious food down the street, where the locals go. Eddie and Candy are awesome hosts. And the cats make you feel very welcome!

My wife and I along with 2 other couples stayed at Olga's for one night after some sailing in the BVI. We chose it because of its location, which is close to both the ferry terminal and the airport. Although brief, we enjoyed our stay. We were met by friendly and helpful staff and our rooms were ready for early check-in, As is pointed out on their website, the rooms are located in several building on a fairly steep hill side so considerable stair climbing is required. This was not a problem for us, but might be for others. The rooms were well-appointed and clean with nice views of Hassel Island and Charlotte Amalie harbor. Although close walkable dining options are somewhat limited there are several choices including a French deli and pizza place. We would certainly stay there again if we were in the area.

They upgraded my room to an ocean view. The rooms are clean and nice. There are a lot of stairs to get to check in and your room. I didn't realize that until they aent me an email after i booked.

Olga's Fancy is one of those "hidden gem" properties. Easy walking distance to the ferries. High-end and pub-style dining within blocks. Funky style. Super-comfortable beds. Great outdoor spaces. Highly recommend (except if you beat me to a reservation!)

Olgas Fancy is the perfect place to stay for a night or two on each end of a charter trip. 10-minutes to the airport, 5 minutes to the ferry. Eddie will set you up with a taxi and you’re good to go. The hotel is not the Ritz, but who needs the Ritz when you have nice clean rooms, a pool with a view and numerous restaurants ranging from McDonalds to the 5-star Oceana which is right next door. There is morning coffee/tee on their reception deck area or sit by the pool and take in the ocean views. The only negative, there are a lot of stairs, so be prepared, or pack an overnight bag and store the rest in their office. Olgas Fancy really is the perfect place to get you immersed in the islands, something sterile resorts can’t.

We just spent 4 days at Olga’s Fancy and highly recommend this delightful family owned/ operated hotel.

Casual, relaxed atmosphere. Friendly, helpful, accommodating staff. Close to the airport and the ferry, both of which were important to me for this trip.

Rooms were very clean, very nice views of the ocean, Candace, the owner is extremely helpful and nice, easy walk into the main city, several excellent dining choices, especially the French Quarter Bistro, a very short walk away
