Old vintage building in great location

We stayed here for a College of Charleston basketball game and a tour. Perfect location! Bathrooms are tiny.

The property is a beautiful historic building and is located on King street which is great for strolling and shopping. The bathroom was very small but was clean and up-to-date.

The rooms were really small.. the area around was great to walk around and had easy access to tons of places to eat and shop! Being with 2 kids it was great to have a great area to walk! The Bathrooms are so small the toilet and sink are very close to each other. It is a pretty hotel though! The staff at the doors in front were not very friendly or offered help to open doors and bring it luggage’s since we did not valet and checking in was not very Friendly either! Overall nice just bc of location!

My family enjoyed our visit at the Francis Marion. Great location and overall super nice , helpful staff! We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel. Great staff. Wonderful.

Our room was very disappointing. One of the beds was obviously broken. It made a horrible cracking and creaking sound when my very petite daughter turned over. The bathroom was awful. Toilet hardly flushed and the already small counter on the sink had a significant crack that filled with water. We have stayed here before so I never expected this would happen. The room was definitely not worth the cost.

The hotel was great. Had a great charm to it. It has a restaurant/bar and even a Starbucks attached to it. The women that were cleaning in the morning were very nice! The only downside was when checking in the older gentleman that worked the front desk was a bit rude. It started me off a bit frustrated, but it was fine after that and everyone else at the front desk was friendly. Location was ideal for everything we wanted to do.

Honestly, it was a lovely old hotel. Bathroom was the only thing that was slightly annoying
