Villas Resort Wellness & Spa

I just visted and hate at the Villas Resort restsurant in Castidad and I must say the food is excelent. They have personalable service, great selections and all the meals that my wife, kids amd I had were delicious. To top it off the restaurant was situated by the pool side with music. I would defenitely recommend eating here when visiting Sardinia.

We have traveled and stayed all over Sardinia for the last 10 years. This is by far the most disappointing and frustrating experience I have ever had on this beautiful and special island. The resort itself may, at one point been 4 star quality; however, it no longer is. The rooms and all of the facilities are in very bad need of updating and repair. When we checked in, it was 44 degrees Celsius and we were given a room with a broken air conditioning. We elected to upgrade and pay $100 more a night. Despite knowing the AC was broken, the hotel attempted to give the same room with a broken AC and ants infesting the room, to our friends. They refused to acknowledge this was a problem or help find a solution. This dominated an entire 1+ day of our 6 day stay. The front desk staff regularly engaged in arguing with us and other guests and the manager refused to deal with anything. Another huge issue is that the guests are a captive in the resort as there are no taxis serving the hotel and the closest shop or restaurant is a 25+ min walk down a busy highway. The restaurant is a sauna and the food barely edible. Everything you do is an extra charge, so in the end, it is better to stay at a hotel of higher quality and a bit higher room rate. The beach is extremely crowded and not super nice. There are so many beautiful beaches in Sardinia, it was hard to imagine a hotel where we paid over $500/night would have a subpar beach that was not even visible from the hotel. I would really encourage you to avoid this hotel until it is updated or there is new management. My family loves Sardinia but we were extremely embarrassed to have organized a trip to this spot with friends. There were some staff members who were friendly (the cleaning crew was the best part of the stay) but it was hard appreciate when you were always hot, tired and hungry. And there is no Wi-Fi 😬

The only friendly and helpul staff was Bruno, from the front desk. All the other staff members from the front desk are in wrong line of work. The beach and restaurant staff were friendly. Things change really quick artound here. What you talk with the staff in the evening, is no longer available in the morning, or it is available at a higher price. We were offered a late check out in the evening, because we had a bad experience with a boat trip we booked from the reception(we lost €140), and in the morning, Gabriella from the front desk, requested €100 per room for the late check out The room was never vacuumed. The sand we brought from the beach was all over the place.

We stayed there for a week in the Hotel and had a really nice time. The weather was perfect, the staff were so friendly. They have a smile for everyone and are very helpful. I have to mention Marianna Angius and Antonio especially. They were mega friendly in the restaurant and it was a real pleasure to be there. Also they have a shuttle to the beach that runs the whole day, even though the beach is only 500 metres away. 😊 So if you are feeling a bit lazy....... Also I spent some time in the Gym. Good equipment and well kept. The rooms are in a good condition, modern and clean and it had a good AC. Thanks to the Hotel. It is especially great if you want peace and quiet and we would recommend it.

Mare bello vicinissimo allo scoglio di Peppino. Cibo buonissimo: dagli antipasti (consiglio le cozze alla marinara), per poi passare ai primi e ai secondi sempre freschi e molto gustosi con ampia scelta. Il personale è giovane, esperto e molto simpatico, in grado di farti vivere una piacevole esperienza in pieno clima amichevole!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel una notte : struttura con giardini molto ben curati,camere ampie e carine e letti grandi e comodi Tutti questi aspetti positivi neutralizzati da una colazione pessima : alle 9 del mattino troviamo qualche yogurt,qualche confezione di fette biscottate e di biscotti,due piccole ciotole di corn flakes,niente pane ,niente cornetti ,TRE pezzi di crostata,UNA pesca sciroppata e dico UNA che galleggiava in una ciotola Alle nostre veementi rimostranze hanno rifornito il buffet con sei pezzetti di crostata cruda e con qualche fetta di una abominevole torta di mele ancora congelata Una signora addetta al bar ,in modo abbastanza maleducato, ha affermato di aver ricevuto dalla direzione disposizioni in tal senso e che comunque la sera avevano un matrimonio!: come se ciò giustificasse L’ offrire ad ospiti paganti un servizio assolutamente carente!! Un’ altra cameriera ,candidamente,ha affermato che questo non era lo standard abituale della colazione servita in alta stagione:!! Ciò non è giustificabile anche perché’ anche un hotel due stelle offre agli ospiti un servizio più decente ( questo ne vanta 4!!): se non sonoin grado meglio chiudere! In sostanza si sono persi in un bicchiere d’acqua: come non invogliare nessuno a venire in Sardegna in bassa stagione!

Tornati ieri sera dopo una meravigliosa vacanza in questo splendido resort.... Basterebbe dire questo ma voglio raccontare meglio: ci aspettavamo un bel resort ed un personale adeguato ma non così! Il posto è incantevole, un parco di ulivi, corbezzoli, oleandri, ibischi in cui si trovano perfettamente inserite le camere, belle e confortevoli, ubicate in villette in stile sardo; il personale è gentilissimo e disponibile ad esaudire ogni richiesta dell'ospite; tutti, dalle signore in reception, ai camerieri, ai cuochi, i baristi, al personale in spiaggia, i bagnini, dico tutti, cortesi, sorridenti e disponibili! Un posto stupendo dove ci si sente coccolati!.... Una menzione in particolare ai cuochi, ai responsabili di sala ed alle cameriere: grazie! Abbiamo mangiato cibo squisito, di qualità e cucinato benissimo, coccolati e seguiti da un personale fantastico, attento e premuroso! .... Resta una cosa : il mare ... La natura fa la sua parte regalando a questo luogo un mare ed una spiaggia meravigliosa ed il personale in spiaggia aiuta a renderlo ancora migliore ... Se possibile! Grazie, siamo stati benissimo

Strutturalmente molto bello. Mancano un po’ di cose. Cena a buffet con poche variazioni molto ripetitivo. Animazione praticamente assente. Un po’ di musica alla sera ma sempre uguale e poco coinvolgente. Lo staff molto carino e disponibile.

Non è iniziata bene la vacanza, un camera veramente brutta,piccola... per correttezza ci è stato proposto di cambiare stanza ma,visto che avevamo già disfatto i bagagli abbiamo deciso di restarci,consiglierei per il futuro, visto che parliamo di un 4 stelle, di non assegnare camere così e poi proporre un cambio. Comunque nonostante questo e la spiaggia che purtroppo si sta rimpicciolendo, la vacanza è stata gradevole, il cibo buono, il personale davvero impeccabile gentile e disponibile. Ma si dai.... è stata una vacanza gradevole
