Ulasan Hotel Alcázar de la Reina

Hemos pasado un fin de semana maravilloso, en el hotel está muy bien situado para pasear por la maravillosa Carmona y con muchos bares cerca con muy buen ambiente, respecto al hotel mucha limpieza y un trato maravilloso con su personal, sin duda repetiría. Muy recomendable

El hotel ya lo conocíamos y no nos defraudó en absoluto. Aunque nos dieron una habitación que olía a tabaco, subsanaron el incidente facilitándonos una habitación más grande y con mejores vistas. La piscina era de agua salada. En el restaurante El Tabanco se come estupendamente. Todas las comidas y cenas las hicimos allí. Muy buena experiencia, una vez más.

Un hotel muy bien situado, con bonitas instalaciones y piscina. Me resultó complicado aparcar.

we travelled south of Andalucia and were met by genuine smiles and friendly service everywhere, until we came to Camora. The receptionist registered us, we did not feel welcome. The day went on like that. Dinner was included, if you can call it that. For starters a bowl of tomato with a few strips of tuna. for the main course porc with a nauseating championsause all served by completely incompetent staff. Nothing like the menu that made our mouth water looking at the commercial in the elevator. My advice: don't include dinner in the reservation if you can avoid it. I get an excellent 3 course menu in Mijas for 11,50, Here the menu is priced at 20 euro and awful. I would say; avoid the hotel altogether, but the dour attitude seems to be a local treat, so that would mean skipping Carmona altogether.

The hotel is nice enough, but there were a number of tour groups which made the restaurant crowded for breakfast and dinner. They charge an excessive Euro 15 per person for breakfast. We did not include breakfast with our reservation because we needed to leave before breakfast was available. There is a nice pool area but only 6 lounge chairs were available.

We stayed at the Alcazar on a friend’s recommendation. We were so pleased with our stay that we extended by one more night. Our visit to Carmona was most interesting and unexpected gem. We will highly recommend to family and friends. We joined a tour organized by the city. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and patient; a delightful member of Carmona’s community.

Our standard double room was very spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, our room was rather dated and in need of a revamp. There were no facilities to make a tea or coffee in the room, absolutely nothing, not even a bottle of water. The minibar war plugged in, but completely empty - very strange and really not at all what I would expect from a 4 star hotel. The breakfast room is in a windowless basement room with paper tablecloths, the breakfast was 'okay' but nothing like at other 3 and 4 star places we have stayed on this holiday. I am not sure how they can get 4 stars?! Would not stay again :-(

Hotel was a perfect getaway and a beautiful place to stay. At this time of the year it was quiet and offered an ideal location to relax. We took our bikes to cycle in and around Carmona and were pleased to know there was a designated secure parking area in the hotel underground garage for bikes. Really enjoyed the location and accessibility to explore the town by bike and foot. Very nice and highy recommend as an alternative or additional stop to Seville.

Great hotel in a great location. Deluxe room was beautiful with stunning view. Hotel staff were excellent and always helpful. Plenty to explore nearby and only 20 mins drive to Seville. On-site restaurant served great food. Recommend La Yedra local restaurant, only a few minutes walk from hotel.

The hotel is well positioned in the old town, parking is available at additional cost, the entrance and parking bays are tight, very tight! The Wi-Fi in the hotel was hit and miss, quite often unavailable in the room. The superior bedroom only had a standard double bed, which was disappointing, the shower head had to be tied up to be functional. The breakfast selection (at additional cost) was good. The pool is unheated salt water, very refreshing, sun loungers are limited and can get busy.

This is a beautiful property with the most horrible beds I have slept in in all of spain. If you want to sleep in a child's hard bed. This is the place for you.

Beautiful hotel with a very peaceful environment, the room was very comfortable and it was cleaned everyday.we stayed for nine nights and enjoyed every moment. A big asset for the hotel is the staff who are very friendly and helpful especially Daniel on reception and Antonio in the bar. The food in the restaurant and bar was very good.would 100% stay here again.

The hotel is beautifully positioned in an incredible Roman town with a panoramic view of the countryside. Far from the madding crowd and very Spanish. The beds were really comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, the saltwater pool was lovely and the rooms well appointed with plenty of space.
