Just home from a four night break with my girl friends (60 ish) wasn’t a cheap holiday for four nights but was ok. The hotel is very tired and in need of a bit of tlc, its location is great , right on the beach and the entertainment was very good . Not keen on the rest of the area , not the best place I’ve been in majorca, but the cove we were in was lovely. The problem with this hotel is the lack of staff, we would be nearly finished our 2nd course and still hadn’t ordered our water for the table. This happened every night. We came back to our room on Thursday and our towels were still in the bath and the room not clean and beds unmade as they don’t do housekeeping on a Thursday! My friends went to reception and they did give them towels from behind her desk(obviously more people complain not just us) we booked a hotel for precisely these reasons two relax have clean towels and room done for us. The food was really nice for a three star and we enjoyed our meals. Again we had water from the fruit machine and it was awful, complained and they said the filer hadn’t been changed! All in all we had a fab few days but wouldn’t return, sorry Son Baulo

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! This hotel was spotless, the maids do a really good job at cleaning the rooms everyday always fresh towels. Entertainment was great so was david, he made our experience unforgettable with his warm hospitality . The staff were so so helpful, the most well mannered, friendly people and are a real credit to the hotel. Breakfast was very good and so were the cockails. Great swimming pool and easy to get a sun lounger. Would definitely recommend.

The room allocated was at the rear of the hotel where the train stops and a noisy cafe. It has been modernised with a glass balcony. The TV is in front of the only mirror on the dressing table and the only other mirror is in the bathroom but there’s no extractor fan. Very Steamy. The bedroom is lacking a full length mirror. And no air conditioning working or Balcony light. The food is plentiful and a good standard. Drinks were €2.50 for a half of larger and €7.50 for a Mojito. The entertainment was good and Animation Dave was a crowd pleaser. My only quibble was Saturday the locals checked in and given green wrist bands. It was too busy and unsupervised children,running up and fown the stairs and on our 4th floor landing gone after midnight and no security to stop them. So you had to wait until the bar closed at Midnight and hopefully their parents would take them to bed. But unfortunately the clocks went back an hour and my Fitbit watch recorded only 4 hours sleep. The food was top notch on Saturday evening for the locals which was very enjoyable, but not the norm. However, I find the band system to identify Spanish / English disconcerting . My final quibble is the collection of finished plates annoying, whilst I’m still eating they come over to collect my partners plate instead of waiting until we’ve both finished, which is the correct protocol. Finally, this is a great hotel, fabulous location with friendly staff. Worth a Visit especially at the end of the season. Last week in October. Ps If your on a night flight it’s €29 to extend your room until the coach arrives.

I have to say, this place gets better every year..I have been coming here for years but this time was even more special..from the food to the entertainment, my family couldn’t ask for more. Thank you Son Baulo!

This hotel has the potential to be fantastic, the location is superb right on a lovely beach in a great area, 20 minute walk you are in the heart of Ca'n picafort with lots of lovely restaurants and shops etc. Unfortunately whilst we were here we got a sickness bug, not the only ones but told by hotel its in the area not in the hotel and only 1% have caught it in the hotel but I spoke to plenty of families who had experienced at least one member being sick so their figures are not quite accurate! Obviously this put a dampener on the holiday and to be told they're doing all they can to stop it spreading only to find no hand gel filled up etc that this isn't true and more could most definitely be done. They did put air con on for me for 24hrs and offered a doctor who will tell me same as them! Very passive aggressive in their nature not customer friendly. Also sunbeds not cleaned as they state, I have photos to prove this, lots of muck all over them. We all got a note got posted through our door asking us not to put suncream on before entering the pool, UMM HOW RIDICULOUS!!!!! My daughter was not going into that pool without cream on in 35c heat with her fair skin it's just laughable. The worst thing is the food, I wouldn't give it to my dog if I had one!!! A real weird concoction of things that just dont go together and the standard is low, how people say its good I will never know they must eat badly at home, I cook decent meals so wasn't lowering to this. If you like school canteen this is the place for you!!! We ate out every night adding a lot of extra cost but it was all we could do to have an enjoyable experience. The restaurants in town are excellent, I highly recommend the Chinese restaurant that the road train stops outside of. We didn't have one bad meal out and found staff friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic trip with tui also going by train, tram and boat definitely the best day by far. If you want to hire beds on the beach the price has just risen dramatically from 12 euros to 23 for three beds and an umbrella no matter if you're there for 2hrs or 10 same price, we felt this was unreasonable and unfair but its good to know beforehand. The hotel isn't all bad it has some good points like the pool and the pool view rooms all very nice and our cleaner a little elderly lady worked very hard to keep the rooms clean and tidy for you, I just think they're not given enough products to do a thorough job like you would at home. David does a great job of entertainment and is definitely a bonus to the hotel. Overall I think management need to take responsibility, staff need more training and things need to be addressed without blaming others or making excuses. I don't want a response If it's of sour tone! Please go here with an open mind as everyone obviously has different opinions and experiences, I am just trying to be honest as possible and to actually be helpful so this can be the hotel it deserves to be.

Fantastic family holiday hotel was nice my room could do with an update and maybe a brush and pan left in the room for the sandy floor, all staff very friendly . Food was good with good choice water should be on at dinner time aswell as breakfast you have to pay for water at dinner . David son baulo was fantastic at keeping everyone entertained day and night pool volleyball in the morning and killer darts to get everyone talking and making friends.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at the Son Baulo hotel. We stayed for a week in July. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner had a large selection to choose from and very delicious. The location is perfect as it’s just on the beach. I highly recommend this hotel. The only thing is, be prepared that the shops in the area are very expensive, even just essential items are costly.

We had a great stay here in August 2023. Good location for people who wish for a quieter holiday. Away from the hussle & bustle and close to a nature reserve for those that like to walk. One thing to bear in mind getting a taxi can be difficult & if you like excursions think ahead as there are not many close by to this hotel due to the location. Beautiful stay, Lovely staff & good food.

Beautiful hotel and location, right on the beach with amazing sea views. Rooms are very spacious and the Superior sea views are modern, with nice furniture, very nice bathroom with walk in shower. And kept very clean. Very good breakfast. Staff is very friendly and professional. We will surely be back.
