Elba Sara Beach & Golf Resort

2nd visit to this hotel . It is a lovely hotel staff are great , helpful and friendly . The facilities are amazing the pool is large and spacious. The food is good and offer a wide variety. The only thing I would make better is more entertainment at night and let it go on later . All round great hotel

This hotel is absolutely amazing! I cannot fault anything or anyone. We stayed in a prestige double on floor 6. Room was spotless! Restaurant on all inclusive had a huge variety every day, cooked fresh. Staff fantastic! Can’t wait to go back

We first stayed at this hotel in November 2021 and it was tired with mediocre food. We have just returned from our second visit and wow what a difference. The hotel has been updated to a much higher standard, the new Adults only sunbathing area is lovely and so are all the rest of the improvements. We were amazed by the excellent standard of food in the main restaurant and there are now two themed ones, Italian and Mexican. What makes this hotel extra special are the fantastic staff who work so very hard not just focusing on one area, they move around during long shifts. It was good to see management walking around talking to guests and getting feedback through written surveys. We travel a lot and to be honest do not normally know who the manager is at a hotel. We had a couple of very minor issues which were resolved quickly. Would we return? Well that’s a big fat yes, we will be joining all the other returners. Very well done to everyone at the Elba Sara for an amazing holiday.

We stayed a week in mid-January and really enjoyed our time at the Elba Sara. The staff were all fantastic and went out their way to help without delay. We asked to change room on day 1 (our first room was on the side with minimal sea view) and reception were able to swap us to a brilliant room on the 4th floor. Thank you! Food - no complaints with variety, we enjoyed the different theme nights and also did 'TexMex' one night where we had a large steak. Sometimes could have been a bit hotter, but depended if you arrived towards end of the session. Pool/gardens - always loads of sunbeds and always clean, staff collected empty glasses through the day. We enjoyed the new 'adults only' area, with more comfortable sunbeds and fewer people. Great area to relax. Drink - no issues with the AI drinks. Choice of 3 gins, Jim Beam, Smirnoff Vodka, CruzCampo beer - no cheap unknown spirits. Cocktails weren't tried, they were ready mixed and didn't look a close match to genuine ones. The bar staff were brilliant, remembering your name and even what your regular drink was. Entertainment - live music most nights in the main bar, other entertainment in the 'Broadway bar' some aimed at famalues with kids. Nice mix, and quieter areas in case you didn't want the music. TVs with live sport in the main bar, so good if your football team is live on Sky Sports. Refurbishment - still continuing in places (some corridors were out of bounds, but didn't affect us), but the benefits are easy to see and the remaining work should be finished soon. Overall, it's the best hotel we've stayed at in Caleta and wouldn't hesitate to go back. Thank you to all.

Paid extra for sea view got this. Front desk were rude, told us they were fully booked and couldn’t move us even though there was availability on the website. Told me the tree was not the full width of the balcony (it was) and the sea was ‘big not little’ so we would see it 🥲

Totally marvellous experience.Staff at all levels are polite and curteous. Pools were spotless and spacious. Rooms have a decent air-conditioning system and are very comfortable. Massive 55" tv in room with sea view and lots of supplied tea and coffee in the room. This was our second visit and we will return. The 4 hour flight from London is worth it !!!!

Arrived and took taxi straight to hotel, only €15 and quicker than transfer. Smooth and easy checkin with Ricardo (all very helpful and lovely). Hotel clean and tidy and food excellent from breakfast to evening meal, good selections and plenty to satisfy even the fussiest! Ari on bar is so funny, all bar staff are kept busy and cope with all guests throwing in a bit of fun, laughter and smiles. La Nonna Restaurante was superb, we chose that as our speciality meal both weeks but there is also a Tex Mex night. Chef and staff those nights cooked and served brilliantly! Kinja is a very hard worker as is all the staff all around the hotel. Guest relations manager and Catering manager are always taking time to speak to guests. Have been here many times and will be back again soon.

We stayed in an accessible room, the terrace was superb as it was really big. We had sun all day but partial shade nearest the room as the day went on, so no need for a parasol The breakfast was very disappointing. We love fresh fruit & yogurt but there was a very poor selection & most of the fruit was tinned. No melon all week. The English breakfast was lukewarm & not the best quality ingredients. There were no mushrooms all week even though they were available for the omelettes. The latter were freshly made as were the fried eggs on request. Unfortunately the staff focused on making omelettes for which there were long waits but even longer for eggs. The whole breakfast experience was not a relaxing one. Tables were too close together, there was a shortage of staff, queues at all stations, coffee, toast, juice etc etc. A cat kept coming into the dining area. On several occasions I saw staff picking it up to take it out without gloves, then continue their tasks touching tables & food utensils without washing their hands. There were a lot of children in this Hotel Thankfully it is set in a quiet area & we enjoyed the other elements of our holiday.

Stayed here with family and honestly the staff couldn’t do more for us! Brilliant all around! We got a newly refurbished room and the views were amazing. One of the best family holidays! Lovely walk along the beach into town too! The activities for the kids were brill and the food was lovely!
