Lovely hotel, nice escape frm uk weather, what a bleak August it was, beautiful sunshine all week in spain, i met some lovely English and Spanish people over there, food was lovely, staff was great, the only downside to the hotel is no kettle in rooms,or a fridge,microwave etc, u get wat u pay 4 really wiv it bein 3* . you get what you pay for its nice when you get there,lots to explore theyre are long queues for breakkie,dinner,evening meal in peak times of the year,and short amount of sunbeds for how many ppl are at the hotel, lovely beach down the road, just a short walk away, lovely town its well looked after but be aware spainish ppl like to come out at night and party when it's too hot so when you wanna go to sleep and you're there at the weekends just hope that you don't go home tired and fly home bcus it has a lot of noise from a noisy nightclub just behind the back of the hotel with teenage party goers. Nice break ok for families, very busy at times, but good for get away from uk an relax,so you don't have to stay in the hotel all of the time if you do not want to, its better to go all inclusive, but make sure also when you venture out at night when its hot and humid carefull incase you may get bit by the mosquitoes at dusk ,in the summer months.

It's 3star for a reason the staff were all amazing i made some good friends there I wouldn't return again I'd go 4 star next time for food and drink reasons great location near amenities and very lively in September I wouldn't go all inclusive there again though 4 star hotel for me next time

On arrival check in was fine rooms were clean but very disappointed as we was told there was entertainment every night and there was absolutely nothing so this was falsely advertised shut main bar after first night and and not a great choice of food and drinks given to all inclusive guests which we were we had to eat out everyday we would not stop at this hotel again although callela is a lovely place to go also the pool is too small for the size of the hotel also transfer to and from the hotel didn’t pick or drop us off outside hotel we had to walk and find the hotel and then to see the coach drive past us once we arrived

First night we found a blood stain in my friends bed. Told the desk but they didn’t understand us so my friend had to sleep in the bed regardless. Complained the next day and someone eventually changed the bed sheets. On top of it, we had I had breakfast and the food was awful, I cracked an egg and there was black yolk!! This is dangerous and can cause people to get I’ll. the last 3 days I have complained and the manager is avoiding me. I had a member of staff tell me “maybe it’s just a bad egg” after explaining about the breakfast. Manager has no customer service structure! DO NOT STAY HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT!!

Transfer coach doesn’t drop you at the hotel so had to walk down the road and round the corner with hand luggage and cases n carrying a sleeping 6 year at 3am. I was with my in-laws, 2 children and partner yet they put us in a room as 3 and 3, they had no other room and I wasn’t not having my children in with me so I hade to share with my 6 year old in a single bed for 10 nights. Shower trickled out but the room was cleaned and towels changed everyday. Maid did just walk in once and took the keycard out once too so my aircon went off, I had to find her to get it back. I paid enough for this holiday so if I want the air con left on I should be able to. Not enough sun loungers and people queuing from 7.30 even though the pool doesn’t open till 9, we only ever had 3 beds even though there was 6 of us and on our last day the reception man removed our towels off 2 bed and threw them onto one, I’d only gone for breakfast. If you didn’t get to breakfast, lunch n dinner early you had to queue, plates were often dirty and tables not cleaned after the last person. Food was ok if you wasn’t fussy, we found something we liked. Daytime food was never there ready for you, you had to ask for chips and they would only do a small amount, would serve about 3 people, same with the hotdogs n burgers. Bar in the day was good and fast but in the evening slow. Evening entertainment was ok, nothing to rave about but ok for kids. To top it all off my sons £600 Apple Watch was taken from the room, when I asked reception the 2 staffed raised there eyebrows at each other n just took my details and I’ve heard nothing. We tracked the watch and it was in the hotel. AVOID

Everything was clean I can’t complain But the two nights I spent on room 633 were unbearable. At 11 I clock every nigh, since I was next to the service elevator, they started working I don’t know on what and couldn’t sleep until, in both nights, at 1 am had to call reception and ask them to please stop it. The second morning I woke up at 6:30 am to the sound of what I imagine is the washing mashing and the workers getting ready. Please if you have a service elevator and you know you’re going to need to get work done between those hours don’t arrange a guest room right next to it. Today, my second day of vacation I got to sleep 5:30 hours because of this. Terrible will never ever in my worst nightmare return, what you care when you’re choosing an hotel is to at least be able to sleep…. Adding to this situation, the was no ramp for the strollers or bags and the maitres was of the lowest quality there is.

Just come back today and had a great time, plenty of choice in restaurant didn’t have to queue long at bats, staff were all lovely, good location and for the price we paid we were more than happy, entertainment was fun and kids reps were lovely

This is a budget hotel, and the facilities reflect this. basic rooms, but clean with fresh towels and cleaning daily. The restaurant is a bit chaotic at breakfast, and food basic, but there was enough choice. Staff pleasant and hard working.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Room had an electrical socket hanging off the wall and the shower did not hang onto the wall. Rude hotel staff- enter room when do not disturb sign is up, refuse to let you purchase a safe and do not cut excess of wristband off for you. Hotel cleaner attempted to take my room key from the room while I was in it Food is cold and very limited as someone with a milk allergy all I could eat was chips and salad. Pool is dirty with not enough sun loungers or seats round the pool. Hotel bus transfers do not take you to the hotel

The staff were very helpful and we enjoyed our time there. It was clean and there were activities for the children to do. It’s situated close to the beach, the markets and the train station, which meant our days were packed with things to do. It was all a walking distance away. Ahmed at reception was very helpful and the food was nice. Calella is a beautiful place and we would go again. Yes it was noisy at night but that’s because of other guests not the hotel.

Don't go, the food is always cold and they don't probe the food, and it's suppose to be done on every shift Staff rude Beds terrable It's like a council estate, queuing up for sunbeds at 8.30 am, pool doesn't open till 9am then put towels down and sod off till 3pm

AVOID at all costs. This place is the worst thing you ever seen. The rooms and the furniture is in a terible state. They have extra beds stacked in your room, everithing is broken, plaster off the wall, teared up courtains. No control over the aircon (you have to wake up all night to turn it on and off). Staff is extremely rude. Food ... don't even go there. It a lousy canteen, where after a queue all the way up to level two into the hotel, you have to clear your own table and make room for yourself. And staff is just watching. Pool is filthy, and sun chairs allways taken by the same few people who save ALL seats the moment the pool open placing towels on them. Reception rude staff refuse to put you in contact with the management. The worst holiday ever. Never again. Shame on you Catalunyan Tourism Dept. for letting this horrible place ruin tourists holidays,

Absolutely terrible place. Dirty with outdated room and bathroom. Food always cold and terrible. Staff rude and not helpful Swimming pool has size of hottub. What a S**T hole. Worst experience ever. Stay away!

Average cheap holiday. Well situated for all amenities. We chose this holiday for the full adult and children's entertainment package, there was none, very disappointing!!!. There seems to be no organisation, people leaping in outdoor pool late at night, very dangerous. Most of the staff were rude. Shortage of outdoor seating . The bar inside never opened, you had to trail downstairs and outside to get a drink. This hotel is not advertised as it should be .
