Bluesea Don Jaime

Very helpful friendly staff, food very good! Pool nice if a bit cool. Entertainment, a couple of live acts which were great but every other night bingo. Hotel in great location! Only complaint is some holidaymakers were very noisy. Was our first experience of all inclusive. Would still definitely use again.

Ever been to a hotel where you can immediately feel that there's something wrong with the a**osphere? In a few days you can spot the person who ruins it. Other workers are not smiling when she's around, she keeps nagging about everything to everyone, especially to the poor clients who are trying to enjoy their vacation. When she's not there everybody else in the personnell seems much more relaxed and are smiling. Bluesea Don Jaime is the place to be if you want to get anxious about going to breakfast, lunch etc wondering what did you do wrong this time or have to witness this witch complaining to others ruining everybodys day. Never again!

Lovely little hotel, very clean rooms and overall. Easy to walk to the centre of the resort. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, evening entertainment was good with a singer/bingo and games round the pool during the day. The food was great and all inclusive drinks were good too. Would definitely recommend this hotel and come back!

Rooms was clean and basic but for money was amazing. Cleaners are always on hand to clean daily if requested too. Food was good large variety can always find something that you like. The only criticism is that in evening only having one bar staff and only allowed to get 2 drinks at a time was difficult as we was a family of 3 which meant both of us having to line up each time and the Que was long at times as many people getting coffee which took longer be coffee machine could be a self serving one which could help reduce waiting times.

I've booked for a third consecutive holiday in Cala Millor, and have no problem returning to the Bluesea Don Jaime. It is a 3 Star accomodation, but above 3Star level. I go All Inclusive, which for the price is excellent value. Okay, I may eat out a few times, but the price of AI, is of such good value, should you have a bad day weather wise, you have it your day covered should you wish to stay in the hotel, which happened in 2023, with a full day of heavy rain. The welcoming late at night was excellent, with food and hot drinks available in the restaurant. All the staff provide a wonderful level of customerservice, always provided with a smile. The food was perfectly acceptable to myself, with the exception of one or two dishes, but that is the norm at any hotel. You cannot expect any hotel, or restaurant, to have all your own favourite food on the menu. One very small criticism....could the breakfast staff in the restaurant, switch on the toasters a few minutes before they open the doors. I'm sure it would reduce queues forming while everyone runs their bread through the toaster 3 or 4 times. I found the drinks quality adequate for my tastes., especiallly the rose wine in the restaurant. And I wish people would stop criticising the 1 euro policy with the poolside drinks. You are not paying a Euro every time you go to the bar. You are not paying anything, it is a deposit. Not exactly difficult to carry a 1 Euro coin around with you is it?...lol. As a solo traveller, the single rooms are good. You only need a place to shower,store your clothes and sleep. Okay, the rooms aren't massive, but who dances around the room, when they are travelling alone. Having being a solo traveller for ten years now, Cala Millor, and the Bluesea Don Jaime have enticed me back for a third consecutive year. I could pay more for a hotel with 4 stars, or for that matter 3 stars too, but I get everything I need, to my satisfaction, here. Keep up the good work everyone at Don Jaime. We are currently sat in our hotel room writing this review as we feel it is that bad we cannot wait until we are home. On arrival, staff very rude and abrupt. No smiles, friendly welcomes etc. we went to our room and noticed ********** on the toilet seat, damp, cracked shower tiles etc so reported to reception who said nothing they could do. I rang our booking agent who contacted the hotel and the hotel said they could move us today 11/7 if we came down after 12.30. We went down to be told it is not possible and we had to go to reception at 11am? The staff are the rudest people we have ever met, they shrug their shoulders at you and just say no to everything. We booked all inclusive and as we are only here for 4 days we just wanted to chill by the pool. We didn’t bring any cash or bank cards as we wouldn’t need them as EVERYTHING was included. However they demand €1 to hire a cup to use the all inclusive. We had no way of getting €1 in cash so have not used the drinks from our all inclusive at all. We offered to pay card or leave passports but they shout NO at you. Today we was also woken up by a workman who said shower is leaking into the downstairs reception area. We hadn’t used the shower today yet so don’t understand this but he had to regrout and silicone our bathroom. Also if you are not stood in the queue at the times the meals start you won’t find a table laid. We asked for cutlery to be sat there for 20 minutes for her to come back and say cutlery is on the side. The food is very cheap and you can tell the food is made from Ingredients which are going out of date. The drinks are watered down too! Wine is like vinegar. Honesty, we have seen much better hotels in the area and I would advice you stay elsewhere. If you have a problem here you won’t get it sorted because the staff don’t want to know.

Joke, awful food, have to pay for drinks apart from vodka and rum! Baths room and dirty! didn’t even get a plug! Air conditioning doesn’t work! no current exchange rate either, flies everywhere…. Awful :(

Hotel is clean but food is disgusting and cold ate out every day no entertainment everybody sat playing cards no music round pool no smoking round pool or outside bar found it boring drinks are horrible only thing I would book for is a bed for night

Hotel was ok, nice room pool area staff very helpful. The only downfall was the food food not very hot everything was repeated plus I have allergyies and restaurant staff didnt understand and but there are plenty of nice restaurants around. Reception staff were great as I needed a fridge for my meds and kept them refrigerated for me untill I could rent one. Overall I enjoyed my stay.
